They are... at least this was an issue with network data... it didn't look right, but that's just what was there, but I could see it consistently. I hate the bugs that disappear when you start tracking them!

I recently applied to for a job and they gave me a few coding problems. One of them looked familiar, because I had helped someone with it in the QA section. I wrote it my way and also posted a link to the QA question I helped with. Hope I get bonus points, or just the job.

I hope I can be hired for how I am rather than in spite of how I am... But that could explain the lack of offers. I took down my comedy videos while I'm searching though.

Certainly it should eliminate one of the competition, which can only improve your chances.

Unless they got hired already and I'd be reporting to them. Realistically, I doubt they got through.

It's going to be embarrassing if the guy asking the question in Q&A is the same guy doing the hiring and is their senior developer ouch!

Haha, I know, I thought about that, but the interviewer is the founder.

Why didn't you just explain to them that you don't do homework - it's a CP policy....

The recruiters might have just made up a bunch of questions, then seen what alternative answers to expect by posting them on Q&A.
Quite a sensible policy.
