My day-to-day bread is half & half - 1.5 tablespoons of oil, 3/4 cup of tepid milk, two tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, two cups of flour [one white, one wholemeal], 3/4 teaspoon of bread maker yeast. In that order and a normal or brown bread setting.

Your machine should have standard quantities you can adjust this with.

The other thing I make regularly is chutneys and jams, small quantities and very easy. This morning I am putting in hot mango chutney. 2 mangos, four small apples, ginger, chillies, garlic and onion. Chop it all up, adjust the quantities for how spicy you want it. In the bread pan with two cups of vinegar, two cups sugar [brown and white] and some cinnamon. Set it to jam and you're good to go. Make sure you boil clean the jars you put it in.

Panic, Chaos, Destruction. My work here is done.

I cannot live by bread alone. Bacon and ketchup are needed as well. - Trollslayer
