Well...you've got to have priorities...
This message is manufactured from fully recyclable noughts and ones. To recycle this message, please separate into two tidy piles, and take them to your nearest local recycling centre.
Please note that in some areas noughts are always replaced with zeros by law, and many facilities cannot recycle zeroes - in this case, please bury them in your back garden and water frequently.

I remember that guy...but hey, if you've got nothing else to do, might as well be productive I guess. Bringing a laptop when you're on the run shouldn't be too hard, eh?

I know a few of you have a GoPro Hero camera. Does anyone have the Hero3 Black? If so, how are you liking it? I'm trying to determine the high speed capabilities.

I have not purchased one. Still a day dream though, I really want one for a dashcam, it will probably save me money in the long run.
I was trying to determine if the 60fps is nice enough high speed to warrant the hero3's over a hero2. From some user's youtubes, the slowmo looks okay, but not what I was expecting.

What do you want to use it for?
There are different interpretations of Dash Cam. Do you mean for insurance purposes? If so, that is totally overkill. If you want one for insurance purposes then you would be better to go for a proper dash cam with built in speed and acceleration sensors etc.

Well, I want a dashcam for liability purposes, and also to identify hit and run flee-ers, etc. I was thinking I could kill 2 birds with one stone with a gopro (I was thinking about getting a gopro for other uses, too, in particular slo mo video). I don't really need black box censors, just images would suffice. For a dashcam under $200, do you have any suggestions?

Sorry I don't have any recommendations as I have not looked at any.

Thinking of springing myself for the TOL but am inclined to hold off until the GoPro manufacturers come out with their nightvision version.
You heard it here.

|
|
|

When do you think that may be?

By "that" refering to the "night vision" ... probably never.
By "that" refering to my springing ... sooner than later, preferably.

Darn on the night vision. What did you mean by TOL?

Top of (the) line.

Now I don't normally get to pedantic about English, grammar etc but this one[^] particularly gets on my tits. Both the wrong usage of it and the fact it is now going in the Dictionary because people can't use it properly.
What do others think of this?
To give an example 'This literally made my blood boil" and "I was literally climbing the ceiling".
I mean if literally means not literally then how can we emphasise that "We literally shat ourselves" for example. I'm off home as this has wound me up.

I didn't know the past tense of sh*t was shat. I suppose shitted doesn't sound quite right either.

I used to get excited about such blatant corruption, but now that the number of people too lazy or ignorant to use their own native language correctly far exceeds the number of us who care, it hardly seems worth the effort. Let them drown in their stupidity...

So exactly when was the reverse true? What year would that have been?

Virtually, like literally never!
