When your code is consistently wrong it is far easier to diagnose and fix that when it is only "sometimes" wrong

It is not "always wrong" - it is doing exactly what you told it to do. The fact that there is a difference between what you want it to do and what you told it to do is your problem - not the "codes" problem.
