I sincerely hope that Microsoft sense the disturbance in the Force that their shenanigans with Skype have caused.
They have rolled back dumb ideas in the past and I hope they do the same with Skype, which really didn't need to have its UI almost totally screwed up in order to 'improve' user experience.

There need to be 10 or 20 books published about how to use these new updates and an API created and early adopters who climb on board and start an entire industry underneath it all.
Then, and only then, will Microsoft tear the rug out from under everyone.
If you want it to go away, you need to write a book or two and start hyping the technology everywhere.
Take a look at WhoCrashed. Assuming you're saving crash dumps it can take a look at them and do a rough filter into random glitch, likely hardware fault, and likely driver bug.

I have convinced them to allow me to work from home - in Oz. Part of the conditions are that the laptop has no external email or internet connections, everything via the companies VPN. So no more CP, no more cut and paste.
Damn Richard I'm going to have to type your responses into my apps now. And no there will be no effort made to circumvent the edict, I won't jeopordisse the opportunity.
