This week's first puzzle my first thought of solution was OriginalGriff But the num of letters didn't match. After that I couldn't move in any other direction.

I've been noticing that it doesn't seem to do anything now - websites can figure out what country I'm from even with it on. Mad | :mad:

No, no - he used to be a Ships Pilot back in the day, on vessels like the Queen Mary before he got into electronics design.

Unfortunately, he passed away last year and the world is a sadder place - he was a "true boffin": mad as a hatter, but good with a circuit diagram! He used to ring up Bill Gates in his garage (pre the DOS days) and yell at him because his code was so bad. Laugh | :laugh:

I do not think it is Betternet related.
There is a configuration setting, client side, which selects if you use your or the VPN gateway access. I was working from home on our office VPN, and some our projects require an office IP but I got rejected since my home IP showed up.
