Carbon Based Lifeforms - 780 Days[^]
I think Carbon Based Lifeforms has been featured in the SOTW before, but that's years ago.
I know them for their monotonous ambient music, but their latest album is slightly less monotonous.
It's also a bit more hypnotizing.
Call it psybient if you will.
Anyway, I slept very well to this last week

Last week, she went to explore the attic, walked into a cobweb and then fled back to the kitchen, but not before I could make this picture of her (cobweb included)[^].
Yesterday she came out from under the kitchen while I sat on the couch.
She stared at me for five minutes before going back under the kitchen

PRO TIP: Move breakable objects (such as vases) to the edge of tables and shelves. She will be out to knock them off in no time.

I've already placed some plants that are poisonous to cats in places she can reach.
She won't touch her cat food, but she'll be out to eat the plants in no time.

weirdest was Australia
- first they laughed at the Hong Kong / Singapore people panic buying toilet paper
- then they did the same themselves: even more crazy/panic stricken ...the police had to step in
and btw:
- Australia's toilet paper is nearly all manufactured in South Australia.
... a boon for Caxton (Aus' largest manufacturer), they're running 24 hours.
- Singapore / Hong Kong calmed down (quickly): sanity prevailed - not so much Australia - still on.

Thanks for reminding me. I need to stock up on CPUs, memory and diverse I/O chips. Then I can go into Zen mode and survive without food, sleep or any interaction with the dumb contaminated masses for at least half a year. The worst should be over by then.

Oh, and a generator & diesel - or when the power stations have too few workers fit enough to generate electricity, your zen out will end abruptly.

On the more serious side: What could cause you more problems than toilet paper is the water supply breaks down. To keep the ties to the TP: What if you cannot flush the toilet?
One of my city planner friends repeatedly stated as the city planner's ideal that "Anybody should be able to take a leak at their back door without offending their neighbours". In a crisis, that could reduce the water requirements significantly. For the more solid issues, it remains.
Living in a detached house, I have the opportunity to collect rain water in a cistern. So even in the case of a water outage, I will have an opportunity to flush my toilet. (Actually, I think it is crazy that we ordinarity use drinking quality water to flush our sh*t down the drain, but that is the only option provided, at least in this country!)
