I don't hate America (particularly South America).  I'm certainly not overly fond of US corporations, or of a certain-coloured person who lives in a certain-coloured house, but they, as far as I'm concerned, aren't the perfect representatives of "real" US citizens (who are 90-odd per cent good people).

As for China, the idea that I "love" it probably stems from the fact that I don't have the immediate knee-jerk "CHINA BAD!" reaction that US citizens have had drummed into them (which, by the way, I see as being both distasteful and racist), so if I say something that is honestly good about the country or its people (who are also 90-odd per cent good people), the reaction from US citizens is that I'm a commie-lover.

But, for example, there's nothing commie-loverish about stating plain truths like: Chairman Xi has saved a lot of lives by being a hard-nosed pragmatist and making the right decisions, while the "ME-ME-ME!" activities of a certain-coloured person who lives in a certain-coloured house will probably lead to the unnecessary suffering of a lot of his own people.

Actually, if given a choice between communism and the kind of ardent capitalism that the West is currently suffering under, I'd choose option C: "Just leave me the f*** alone!" -- I don't subscribe to newsletters from either.

So don't expect me to insult the Chinese, every time I open my mouth, because I haven't been subjected to the same anti-Chinese propaganda that you have; and don't expect me to say too many nice things about US corporations, which mostly don't deserve nice things to be said about them.
I wanna be a eunuchs developer! Pass me a bread knife!
