I wonder how long some of these will be on the books?
Consider:
In Alaska It is illegal to be drunk - in a bar
In Chico, California it is illegal to build, own or use(!) a nuclear bomb
In Connecticut only pickles that bounce may be legally sold
In Florida it is illegal to sell your children
In Idaho (and only Idaho) is it actively illegal to practice cannibalism (unless it is “consensual consumption”
)
and many more. a large majority of these are still on the books. How long will COVID-19 laws stick around?
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, navigate a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
