If you see a fairy ring
In a field of grass,
Very lightly step around,
Tiptoe as you pass;
Last night fairies frolicked there,
And they're sleeping somewhere near.
If you see a tiny fay
Lying fast asleep,
Shut your eyes and run away,
Do not stay to peep;
And be sure you never tell
Or you'll break a fairy spell
In a closed society where everybody's guilty, the only crime is getting caught. In a world of thieves, the only final sin is stupidity. - Hunter S Thompson - RIP

Now I feel bad.
When I see a fairy ring, I try to destroy all of the toadstools before they go to spore.

Can't one use fairy ring as a teleportation anchor?

|
|
|

Only gnomes know how to do that.

Besides the site navigation issues, selected the Digital Premium option, told it wasn't available, but there was a third option with the same name and this with a price.
Then apparently it goes through Windows Store, which I never use and using my personal email, no idea what my password is so had to resolve that.
So apparently I have an account associated with an expired CC, so I updated that.
Next, apparently my bank doesn't like me purchasing things from Microsoft, so I got a fraud alert, and answered "NO" because I didn't want to be charged while I'm on the "declined" screen on the Starfield website and no idea if I would actually get a download link or email with a download link.
So now I'm on hold on the phone with my bank's fraud department to explain the whole thing as I don't want my debit card blocked everywhere now.
What a S.S. Thank you Starfield & Microsoft for adding BS to my life today. You won't be getting my money!!!

I'm not a gamer, but my daughter and son-in-law are. They use refillable credit cards and separate email accounts for gaming due to exactly the crappy customer service you're experiencing.

You could have bought through Steam as well. 0 hassle!
And also, XBox Gamepass would also give you the game for "free", well free as in as long as you pay the gamepass subscription!

No; I blame the CC's. Their (AI) "classification" seems very touchy the first few times you use a new CC. (Your previous CC usage seem to have little bearing). Been there.
"Before entering on an understanding, I have meditated for a long time, and have foreseen what might happen. It is not genius which reveals to me suddenly, secretly, what I have to say or to do in a circumstance unexpected by other people; it is reflection, it is meditation." - Napoleon I

I really don't want to use Outlook but Microsoft is forcing it on Windows users unless you want to go third party.
The main problem is it periodically unmarks as read a bunch of my previous emails. Like 20 at a time, which wastes my time.
Enough that I'm avoiding the switch for as long as possible. It's hooked to my gmail account.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Nope, we gave up Outlook a long time ago when we (the company I work for) switched from Exchange to Google Workspace. We all very happily use the standard Gmail web app.

What type of mail server are you using? This sounds like an IMAP issue where the read/unread flag isn't being updated on the mail server.
