error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __imp__AlphaBlend@44

I'm starting to think this project is jinxed. First my little property headache and now this one.

Funny thing is I have a another project that uses this and I don't ever remember having to do this. Oh well, maybe I just forgot about it.

Hi There,
I am using the Microsoft Web Browser ActiveX control component in a
a dialog container to display a web page in Visual C++ 6.0. Basically the web page
on the server is small rectagular area and thus the full IE acreen
area is not required. Despite disabling the member variable's for the
WebBrowser class Horizontal and Vertical scroll bars through EnableScrollBarCtrl
the Web container page produces a greyed out disabled scroll bar. Is there
any way over riding this and preventing it being displayed. Do I have to access
the COM interfaces and set the property that way.

We have tried this and we own the webpage but a greyed out scroll
bar appears on the right of the screen any ideas?

Dear (whatever you want),

I have two questions:

1. I'm trying to make an active Document Server application in MFC in the VS2003.
The problem is that I don't have any MFC experience and I'm just longing for some easy programming with those arraylists and window forms. I think I could link my MFC project and my Managed C++ (or C#) with a CCW.
The question: Any hints or tips? Smile | :)

let consider your XML to be something like this

YESTARDAY I WAS TRYING getElementsByTagName(); FUNCTION.BUT I COULDNOT UNDESTAND IXMLDOMNodeList.but now what I HAVE UNDERSTOOD IS THAT WHAT TAG NAME,SAY <cap>, I MENTION IN THE ARGUMENT OF getElementsByTagName()

Does anybody know some free resurce (.rc) editor which is
able to edit the dialogs ?
Moving/resizing the existing windows/changing text is all what I need.
I just want designer to correct dialogs without need
to buy him expensive visual studio and learn him how to use it
without destroying sources and other things in the project.

It's not WYSIWYG but you could always use Notepad. Back in the early 90s, this is how I created and modified resource files before I started using Borland's Resource Workshop.

unfortunately the designer have no clue about programming and now it's annoying for me to move controls by few pixels as he wants

Did you consider 'Resource Hacker' ? You can directly extract, modify and compile resources using it. Nice and pretty sophisticated tool. Not exactly what you want - but should serve your purpose - without even giving out the source Big Grin | :-D

Hi,

I do not know if this has been covered before nut I am in need of an example which will show how to take an HTML file with special tags (maybe in the form of comments) and allow me to replace those special tags with additional customized HTML code.

I guess it's kind of like a search and replace text but at a file level.

I am not sure how to proceed with doing this. Any ideas and/or sugggestions would be appreciated. I've looked at several articles here but can't seem to find exaqctly what I need.
