Why the extra step?
sr --> dt --> str1
How about:
str1.Format("%g", (LPCSTR) m_edit6.Left(3)); If you need the intermediate step, why not use atof() instead of strtod() ?
Anonymous wrote:
this str1 contains a double value.i want to convert this double value into its ASCII value.
Let me see if I have this right. If str1 contains the value 123.45, what exactly is it that you want it converted to? The ASCII value of 1 is 49, 2 is 50, etc. The ASCII value of the decimal is 46. How are you wanting to store these values?

Hi everybody,
I'm going to write a multichannel audio application with directX under VC++ 6. I know that for using multichannel I have to use the WAVEFORMATEXTENSIBLE structure instead of WAVEFORMATEX. This structure is supposed to be declared in mmreg.h, unfortunately not in my version of this header file. I have VC servicepack 6 and dx90bsdk installed on my computer.
Do I make a silly mistake or does anybody else encountered this problem? Can anybody tell me where I can get the correct mmreg.h?
Thanks for your help,
Frank.

Hi guys !
I'm trying to make an activeX quite simple wich upload and download file from an url.
I successfully did it but i still have a trouble. I'd like to access to my activeX in javascript with the
var oActiveX= new ActiveXObject("testX")
command. This command is working, i thinck, because i haven't got errors, but when i'm trying to access to an ActiveX method,
oActiveX.view();
there is an error, i can't acess to the method
However, if i'm trying to access to my activeX with the html method :
<OBJECT ID="TestX"<br />
CLASSID="CLSID:75CE4352-E461-4031-B662-4FF071C3A963"<br />
CODEBASE="TestX.ocx"></OBJECT><br />
<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"><br />
<!-- TestX.view(); -->
Can somedoby tell me why those damned method are not accessible with the first method but aren't with the second ?
Thanks in advance

try using the full progid, such as
var shell = new ActiveXObject("WScript.Shell");
If you don't know the full progid, then look in the registry under
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{75CE43252-E461-4031-B662-4FF071C3A963}\ProgID
assuming the classid you gave in your original message was correct.
If that doesn't work, try using the classid, as in the following:
var testx = new ActiveXObject("{75CE43252-E461-4031-B662-4FF071C3A963}");
good luck

Hello, world!
I don't know where I must post this thread... Sorry if it's the wrong section.
But my question is:
I want to integrate an HD writing test to my application. This writing test gives an HD bandwidth information to the user. My application give an information to the user if this bandwidth is too small...
The writing test must be done with a random access disk (classical access for most users)!
Where can I found an open source project (or not) which does that?
Thanks for all your answers

I create a CRealPoint class:
CRealPoint
{
public:
CRealPoint();
CRealPoint(double x=0; double y=0);
private:
double m_x;
double m_y;
public:
CRealPoint operator=(CRealPoint rPt);
}
then I have following code:
//
1. CArray <CRealPoint, CRealPoint> m_arrPo;
2. CRealPoint tmpPoint;
3. tmpPoint.m_x= // calculate here
4. tmpPoint.m_y=//
5. m_arrPo.Add(tmpPoint);
//
6. CRealPoint newPoint;
7. newPoint = m_arr.ElementAt(0);
// test value of newPoint.m_x, newPoint.m_y
It is lost data. I guess problem occur at line 5 or 7 but don't understand why and don't known how to solve this problem.
don't stop me now!!!
|
|
|
|
|
change these lines
1. CArray <CRealPoint,CRealPoint&> m_arrPo;
.
.
.
6 CRealPoint &newPoint = m_arr.ElementAt(0); // ElementAt return ref to ob
or
6 CRealPoint newPoint = m_arr.GetAt(0); // GetAt return ob and need copy constructor that ur class have it.
BTW.
CRealPoint newPoint = m_arr.ElementAt(0); is also correct

Hi All
have an MFC application i'm maintaining.. (VC++ 6.0)
It runs ok in debug mode.
But if i add a breakpoint anywhere inthe code, (yep a breakpoint - nothing else) when the debugger reaches the breakpoint when run the debugger throws
===
"Debug Assertion Failed!"
Program: Yadda.exe
File: afxtempl.h
Line 254
(etc etc etc)
[abort] [retry][Ignore]
==
Now, if the breakpoint is not present then the code does not throw an assertion
weirdness beyond the usual microsoft rubbish
has anyone run into this before and if so what I can do to fix this problem?
Presumably its a setting inthe project/vc 6
cheers

This is somewhat of a long shot, but have you tried doing a Rebuild All? When the debugger is doing weird things a Rebuild All has fixed everything for me many times before.

yes i have tried a rebuild all and it is not of use

Got any other threads running?
Every time I have seen something like this, or even exceptions (Access Violations) firing on each debugger step(!), it was due to a problem with the code that one of the (or a) background thread was running.
If so, I would look there for issues.
Peace!

AFX_INLINE TYPE CArray<type, arg_type="">::GetAt(int nIndex) const
{ ASSERT(nIndex >= 0 && nIndex < m_nSize);
return m_pData[nIndex]; }
the assertion,
which is just plain weird coz it doesnt matter where in the code i place my breakpoint
