Any material available to make simulator for 8085 microprocessor in C, C++ ?

Hi Friends,

I am developing simulator for 8085 microprocessor using C, C++ language. Is there any examples, links, materials or books available to help ?

MSXML2::IXMLDOMDocument::save a xml doc

Hi,
I want to create an xml file. I am using MSXML2::IXMLDOMDocument::save() method to do so. Using the sample examples giving on net, but all are giving errors.
I am successfully able to parse an xml document, but save a new xml file always give error. And creates blank xml file.
Can anybody suggest me a sample program to save xml file.

I am using MSXML3/MSXML4 DLLs.

IXMLDOMDocument expose .xml BSTR variable which contain whole xml file of interface, and by using standered FILE operation you can save it Smile | :)

I need a drop down color picker on a toolbar .
The concern is when it drops down it should list only 16 specific colors that can be varied dynamically. That is it should list only specific colors in the drop down list.
Are there any specific articles that suit this requirememt.

You could always try the Colour Pickers available on this site. You can always adapt them to
use your own set of colours.

The one I use is Chris Maunders CColorPicker.

You might also want to look at CRulerRichEditCtrl - a complete RTF mini-editor[^] for a toolbar / colour popup in action.

hi,

i need to convert a gray scale bitmap to raw image. i can read the bitmap file and can access its image data. now i need help how to write a raw image file thats of extension ".raw". Does any one have a code for this conversion.

i have uploaled my exe on the web server of our private net. now i want that whenever someone tries to download my exe, a pop-up box should come up which will ask for the license key. once the licence key is validated, only then the download should start. how do i implement it?

Secondly since the exe will be hosted on intranet, so whenever someone tries to download my exe, i need to know the IP address of the system which is trying to download it, check whether its a valid internal address and only then ask for licence input. how do i implement it?

COleDateTime : total number of days in month

Is there any easy way to get the total number of days in a month?
My method, which seems really primitive, is to increment from 26
to 33 until

if (date.GetMonth() == -1)
break;

at which time, I know I went too far by one. TotalDays is i - 1.

Is there any other way to do this?

Please, any response any one can give me will be greatly appreciated.

You can also set your COleDateTime object to the first day of the next month, substract one day, then get the current date. It's perhaps not a less primitive way, but at least you avoid the loop.

Btw, what kind of alien calendar are you using? Do you really expect to find some month with 32 or 27 days? Wink | ;)

A simple switch/if else statement can be used for 11 of the months.

For Feb, check for a leap year...

// Leap year if divisible by 4, and not the start of a century OR divisible
// by 400
bool bIsLeapYear = ((((nYear % 4) == 0) && ((nYear % 100) != 0)) ||
    ((nYear % 400) == 0));

and if true, add 1.
