We (mostly) use .NET for developing embedded applications. i advice you to purchase a Beginner VB.NET Book and try to get some information from MS Compact Framework on the internet .. also there are alot of articles available on Internet for beginners to learn VB.NET and compact framework. the second option for you is to learn about Embedded Visual Basic. Instead use .Net Compact Framework, which do the tough job for you and provides a simple to use syntax. And once the ram buffer gets full, offload it onto the onchip FLASH. But when i start writing onto the FLASH after sending some data onto the CAN the program just hangs.. Basic idea being, we package the cab file(s) in the msi file and run the msi on desktop. You could also buy some from like PrintBoy but they are expencive. Sorry no known printing for WM5. Then you will be able to do what you want. The best way to do this is to place the code to manipulate the tree on the view. When the user closes the dialog, the view changes the tree accordingly.
