Hi,
I've added a BoolColumn to a data grid on Windows form by adding a DataGridBoolColumn in the GridColumnStyles Collection. How do I see whether the checkbox of a particular row is checked or not?
Is there any event which I could capture on the when the checkbox is checked or unchecked?

A DataGridBoolColumn should be tied to a column of data within a DataTable within a DataSet (or an object within a collection, which can also be bound to a DataGrid and stylized with a DataGridTableStyle - see http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/cpref/html/frlrfsystemwindowsformsdatagridclasstablestylestopic.asp[^] for details).
With that, handle the DataTable.RowChanged event if bound to a DataTable for the table you're bound to (either the table you reference as your DataGrid.DataSource, or the table with the name given in DataGrid.DataMember if your DataSet is bound to your DataGrid.DataSource property, which is more robust).

I have form that dynamically load the images and i have to do is to rotate the image. How could u code to rotate the image. Some sites told me to use the Matrix but we have to rotate the image accordingly the mouse move. If anybody help me in this. Waiting for ur reply

If you have a homework question that you need help with, then you will find there are many people here that are willing to help you.
However, most of them (myself included) want to see that you have tried some things yourself and maybe encountered a particular problem. You did mention that you had read something about a "Matrix" but have you tried finding specific documentation about this feature? Have you tried any code at all which you could show us? What exactly have you done so far (except search and find the word "Matrix")?

You can use this:
double dValue = 123456789.12;
string sValue = dValue.ToString("### ### ### ##0.00");

That doesn't work with the ToolBarButton class - only menus. Every toolbar button should have an associated menu item (per the Windows UI guidelines) so you can implement shortcuts in addition to accelerators using the MenuItem.Shortcut property.

thanks for this very helpful link. i tried with link and used this sample project given with this code. that project is working fine.
actually i want to create google like toolbar. in google toolbar when i click on google. it shows dropdown menu. i want to create that functionality.
1) when i click on Say hello button as given in example in link send by you i want drop down list. which way i do that.
2) second that hello button in exmple always append in current address bar.it does not come on next line. but i want that in next line like google bar which always come in next line.
3) in which way i can add seprator in button like google toolbar

Sorry if this is a stupid question...but can anyone tell me what namespace MessageQueue is under....previouly it was under System.Messaging, but not anymore.
The doumentation on MSDN2 says its System.Messaging but this doesnt work in the code.

I want to input IP address by maskTextbox.
The maskformat is like this : "000.000.000.000".
However, the sting has some 0 which is not needed, such as "192.168.001.002".
How to solve the problem?

The simplest way is to put a shortcut to your app under the Startup folder of the Programs menu in your Start menu, the more complicated way is to add it to add a key to the registry .

The rough hack appears to be setting a registry key under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\MUICache
for the full application path with a group name value
eg. name: "c:\myapp\app.exe", value: My Apps
will group all instances of your application under "My Apps"

Hi all,
I m doing work on application like remote desktop.
I have made a server and client.
Server Description:
server first listen for client request. Upon receiving client request
server Starts a thread using ThreadStart and delegates a function that
handling all the things like capturing desktop image, break that image
into parts, calculating checksum for updated parts, saving image into
Networkstream and sending updated region to client. I m doing all the
work in one thread function.
Problem: I m facing problem of CPU usage. Currently My CPU usage on
server side is 45 to 60% thats not acceptable. I think that CPU
usage is due to the poor threading. Someone suggest me to use
threadpool but threadpool is usefull for short time threads.
Can someone suggest me how can i improve CPU usage and application
performance.
Is there any effect by increasing the number of threads?
Keeping in mind that it is real time application.

Thread context switching is expensive and having too many threads active in your application is no better than doing everything in one thread. The ThreadPool class is for bette scalable solutions because the system will enlarge the pool if necessary (based on the performance of the application and if it can handle more) and doesn't have to create new threads but, instead, reuses existing threads which also decreases overhead. Thanx dear,
But i have generated the profile of my server
application while it is sending updated desktop
regions and i have noticed that least CPU time is
used by the code which capture images, calculate
checksum , save into memory stream and writing data
on network stream. Then where is CPU used?
Why it goes to upper limit of usage?
I think its due to the not properly managed thread.

Thats not neccessarily true, you need a profiler to actually to find out whats going on, try checking some of the perf counters while your app is running, maybe you are allocating several objects and not disposing them causing the GC to run often, The network stream could also be acting asychronously
If you are having more than one client connecting to your server then possibly the ThreadPool will be better as it will manage your thread allocation more efficiently.
