anyone know of a script that will draw me a rectangle on mousedown and leave it there on mouseup? or do i need to write my own ?

Anyone know if Visual Web Developer express supports debugging of standards
compliant javascript & DOM?
I looked at their feature page
(http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/features/html/default.aspx)
and it seems to indicate that only IE compatible code is supported.
The examples show VBScript (not javascript) being debugged.

To answer my own post: yes it does debug javascript very nicely!
Only problem is I'm debugging a PHP app... a bit tricky because Visual Web Developer uses localhost:1072 to debug and you need localhost:80 to run PHP

I created an demo web page but after upload the page to server, i cant not see .
ERROR is

Is that possible to show an aspx page(the page names will be changing depending on the context) inside a div like what frames or iframes do? I have constraint that I should not use frames or iframes.

You could use the XmlHttpRequest to retrieve the HTML page that you want, then set the innerHTML property of the DIV to that value. To look like an (I)FRAME, you should set the height, width, and overflow attributes of the style for the DIV using CSS.

Hi
In my project I am having a browser control which will load a web page and perform some click events automatically without user interface. I made this in a lib file and using in Web application.
This browser control is executing without any problem in certain machines and also it is not at all loading in some others.
I have enabled all my options in 'Internet Options'..
When I debug the application by adding the DLL file which contains the Browser control in Process, the control not at all getting into the break point.
I can't find the problem.
I am very thank full to Help me..

There's no reason you can't use CSS with ASP, do you not know how to do it at all ? If so, there's plenty of help online, just use google.

Just put it into a table or a div with it's align property set to center.
BTW, you may have asked this question in the asp.net forum.

Hi,
Iam Using Sql reporting services 2000, I am running a report using a report viewer in a .aspx page every thing works fine except the print button, is is not displayed in the report viewer toolbar. any reason why is behaving so? Another main concern is I want to create reports dynamically i.e. I'll will have only one .rdl file(physical file) in which I want to display employee information, customers info or orders information from the respective table as per the users request. like if he wants to see emp info he'll click a button to load the emp records in the report and if he wants to see Orders information he'll click another button to view Orders info. and vice versa. First I want to know is it possible to do so if yes how can I achive this, Please give a detail solution for this.

Can someone please help me. I'm working on a project for school and I want to be able to create a Flash or OPUS pro aplication that can be inbedded into an ASP.Net web page. The reason I need Flash or OPUS pro is because I need my users to dragand drop objects into areas and be able to capture the data into an Access database. I can't find draganddrop method in ASP.Net for objects. If I use Flash or OPUS Pro how can I pass or capture user input in ASP.Net? I guess I have a lot of questions I hope someone can help me or point in the right direction.

i have a function on my site that i need changed. how can i "save my changes" to $variable_2 for the whole script to access? i dont want to return an array.

Hi
If you want use $variable_2 in other pages of your site you most register a session
to use session you most call session_start() function then register your session variable like this
$_SESSION['variable_2'] = 1234;
then you can use $variable_2 in all pages that have session_start() function
session_start() most call befor html codes & php functions that have output like echo & print
