If you have access to configure the application's destination server, you could just set it to connect to localhost:{ports} and use an SSH client (like PuTTY) to forward the requests through a secure channel to an SSH server that would then hand off the requests to the management tools server.
I hope that this can help you.

Thanks Curtis. I have full control over both servers. Is there a program out there that can be automated in an install and run like a service so it's seamless to the end users?

Right off hand, I don't know. Let me look around and see if I can find something for you that can automate it.

Thanks. Is this the right forum for this? Would somewhere else be better here? maybe c++? I'm willing to pay for a solution also if it has to be done from scratch.

You might first start by looking a little more professional than using a gmail address.

I'm in need of some basic assistance. I'm really wrapped up in a few things at the moment and I'd like to get some assistance if I could. I will pay cash via PayPal immediately assuming the work is completed appropriately.
I need work done in Visual Studio 2005, ASP .Net (C#). I have a site that is all HTML that I need to convert to ASP .Net using C#. What I would like is for someone to convert the header, right-nav and footer into reusable user controls. I will provide the complete HTML and javascript you just make it a control I can reuse (.ascx). The user control will only be used in this project *ever* so I don't need anything fancy.
I also have to make the parts of the site not in the user controls above editable by the user. Obviously this will take more work and time. If you are interested in doing this as well let me know. We can talk a lot more about details and what's involved. I need the user controls done by tomorrow afternoon/evening. If you are interested in working on the other stuff I'd like a dedicated committment from you because I need this turned around *fast*. Please contact me at rexatcode-frogdotcom and we can go from there.
Thanks,
Rex

Hi,
I have created one setup project to create an MSI for my application. In that application i have used one COM DLL , when i developed i registerd that dll manually and added/used in the application.
While giving the msi to testing team, i need to give a msi, which automatically register that DLL in that machine as a part of installation of the application.
Please provide me code or link, which would be more help.
thanks
Happy coding!!

I have one application where all the business logic gets executed under transaction, like if one update fails; all the previous updates would be reverted back.
In a scenario, i tried to drop a message to local MSMQ under the transaction and as well as to a remote queue. While testing, i gave wrong Qpath to test the transaction, if the queue is local queue, it works as expected( I mean the other updates gets reverted), but in case of Remote queue... ... I cant .. other updates gets committed becoz the Q.Send method doesnt throw an exception in case of non-existence of remote queue.
Any help with code would be much appreciated...
Happy coding!!

Hello everybody, I plan to get Micrsoft Certisfied Support Desktop Technician (MCDST) in 2006. Does anybody has an experience about taking this exam? If so, please provide some experience during the time that you try to obtain this certificate. What point should I do and don't in order to get the certificate successfully.

MCDST is a certification, not an exam. It consists of two exams, 70-271 and 70-272.
Roath Kanel wrote: What point should I do and don't in order to get the certificate successfully.
If you have actual experience with supporting Windows desktop environments, the exams should not be a problem, nor should the order in which you sit for them.

Used to be a desktop support for user around six month. After that I work as a database developer and now i work as system analyst. Whether i work closely with programming language, but i still love to research about windows operating system and others like linux or unix. Currently i have MCP on windows 2000.
