I think that 'their standards' is a horribly racist thing to say. Would you like to be judged by the standards of the worst developer in your country ? Would you expect to live up to the standards of the best ?
Given how cheap Indians come, a lot of people are desperately hoping they all suck, but the truth is some are good and some are not, just like developers in every country.

Very susprising? actaully some people can code but can't elobrorate on that.. now take a situation, a MBA can talk on any topics but he couldn't code... actually many people suffering similiar problem they can do good coding, fast bug fixing and implementing logic but can't do good talking....
I believe as you interviwing a MANAGER post, you must be very well know there is much difference between good coding and coding.

In interview we didn't ask that guy to code. We just asked him couple of basic .NET questions. Without knowing anything about .Net Technology i am not sure how we can talk to our customers about implementing their projects. I feel that guy is not even fit for a entry level programmer position. We have interviewed couple of Wipro candidates for our developer position. I don't think they are so great what they claim to be. They are charging hefty fee from their customers for ordinary quality with their brand name.

Around a year back I undergone a Interview, where Interviewer given me computer and given me three Program on different Concept i.e. Multithreading, Graphics and DS.

and Elite2000 seems to be so much angry but as Alok has already said that some guys have knowledge but they are not able to express their knowledge...
or might be he knows only to deal with clients without going into much technical details..but don't blame other guys in his company,this is not fare Elite2000..

Depends on who you work for. The most fun I had was why I had my own software company. I was working on software I loved. Now I work on public projects (i.e. government projects) and they are interesting, but not quite as much fun as I used to have.

That depends on your skill level. I don't think any of the projects are hard, some are more challenging than others. But, if I were to work on a project for biometric identification then I'd probably say that was hard - but my area of expertise is in business applications (lots of database, web application, and services kind of things).

The main caveat to having your own business is that you don't just do software development. I spent office hours doing office chores, and the rest of the day doing the software development. I was working just about every hour there was available and often until 4 in the morning. If you are going to do that my advice is that you either do it now while you still have the energy to pull those sort of hours and still be excited the next morning, or wait until you have more experience so you work more efficiently within a standard 40 hour week.

Hmm... that sucks! On summer break, I oftenly code until like 7 or 8 in the morning... 
But yeah, I'll try to make an online RPG... and if I ever get a decent amount of players, I'll add something I hate: members-only features! I need to learn to pixeldraw though...  Thanks!

It's a ton of work, but the best feeling you can have. And I recommend you start now, that you don't have anything to lose, and nothing like a family to mantain. So you can risk more. You'll have fun, learn a lot, and who knows, you might just succeed!!
