Hi,
I want to use DrawString using Trimming set to EllipsisCharacter, but this gives me stretched text (nonuniform spacing/kerning) when the text is trimmed.
But when I use another TextRenderingHint it does work, but I would rather use the default value, or at least draw non antialiased (or system default) text.
Is there a way to do draw trimmed text with an ellipsis without stretching it?

If it's a 1.0 or 1.1 project sharp develop can do this automatically IIRC. Reflector will do the same, but will eat any comments in the process. I'm not sure if either supports 2.0 yet.

i have 16 checkboxes in a form. (4 in a row and total 4 rows = 4x4)
if any one checkbox is checked in a row, i want to disable others.
how can i do this ?

Add this line to FormLoad event:

checkbox2.DataBindings.Add(new Binding("Enabled", checkbox1, "Checked"));<br />
When checkBox1 is checked checkbox2 will be enabled, and
when checkBox1 is unchecked checkbox2 will be disabled.

Nothing magic about it: Just set the Enabled property of the CheckBoxes you want disabled to false.

i think this could be worked

Nothing hard to do the above things.... just put all the check boxes in a group box.. it will take care of enabling/disabling the states

The best way of doing this is to use radio buttons instead of checkboxes. That is what radio buttons are for.

I have to draw a picture using GDI, which is definitely bigger than the screen.
I dont know the drawing size intially, its dynamic one.
so, to see the whole picture i should have scroll bars.
how can i add scroll bar to form.
Please help me with sample code.

Here is a simple method:
Set form property AutoSize to true. Place panel on form in (0,0) location. Set panel size equal to image size. Draw your image on this panel.

Hi All,
I have been getting stuck with the weirdest error to do with SMTP. I set up a mail system for a website ive been working on which automatically sends an email when someone submits a form. It was working at first but i hadnt changed the code for a week and when i tried using it again it spat an error. I cut the code down to basics for testing and it still threw an error.
CODE doen in C#.NET {

Hi
I think you have two errors,
1.The Mail Message Format error so you have to set the mail format . There are two formats TEXT and HTML.
SMTPMail.SMTPServer="Mail Server IP";
mailMessage msg=new MailMessage();
msg.To="To address";
msg.From="from Address";
msg.Format=MailFormat.Text;
SMTPMail.Send(msg);
2.The Invalid SMTP mail server identification for CDO Object error so mention right IP address for that one.
SMTPMail.Server="Mail Server IP";
