Hello.. ive been searching and still can't find the answer. This might be a bit trivial for some, but am really confused why this is not working.
I have a property grid, am using this to edit/display/manipulate a resource file actually. I've based my code on a C# sample resource Editor. Right now what am trying to do is to capture the double click event on the property grid. That is if a certain row has a double click event, i will retrieve the value on that row.
Does anybody knows ?

Hi, I have loaded a Word document in c# using the Word 9.0 object library. The doc contains numbered paragraphs.Now i have to navigate to a particular paragraph using only the list number(i.e. i want to goto paragraph with no. 2.3, 3.4 etc). Can any method in word object library do this? There's a find method but it only searches for text. I tried setting the format option for this method to true, but it doesn't work either. I need help ASAP

hI im using the Process Class to execute a Exe application in my program. The exe outputs a file but when I run the program the file isnt in the directory. So how do I get the output into a file?
code example would be helpful

You have to decide which of the outputs you want STDERROR, STANDARD etc.
Then you simply redirect the standard to a string and write it to a file.
Do a search for Process redirect.

I'm wondering if there is an algorithm out there that searches for multiple patterns in a string. I need it to also find out if each pattern is a certain distance from the pattern before it. Is there anything like this? I've been using the Boyer-Moore algorithm for a very efficient single exact pattern search, but I really need something that will search for multiple patterns x distance from the previous pattern.

Do i have to write all my attributes in a class diagram or can i write only the most important if i have very many attributes, and for methods the same question can i leave the less importants out from the class diagram?
thx! The problem is that this is for diploma, thats why i must know exactly!

AFAIK there is no rule for this. Its a tradeoff between completeness and readibility that cannot be generalized. Furthermore its quite subjective which methods or attributes are less important. Somehow everything is important otherwise it could be left out  I suggest you ask your professor to get a binding answer.

I am not aware of any one GDI/GDI+ call that can draw your special "line", but it should be fairly easy to write a routine (or class) for that purpose.
- It's easier to make than to correct a mistake.

I have to write a method named
GetAttributes("keyh%", object type)
in this the (object type) should be such that
setobjecttype("codeservices", "subservices")
Actually I have to search the keywords starting with "keyh" along with that i have to provide the objecttype as codeservices or subservices or i can provide both so that the keywords starting with "keyh" can be in codeservices objecttype or subservices objecttype or can be in both ....
I can provide the objecttype as codeservices & subservices & search in both or i can provide only one objecttype ..... & search the keyword in that
or both the objecttypes can be null and the keyword can be searched only based on keyh% it depends upon the client who uses it he can search the keyword based on like keyh% which gives all the keywords starting with keyh% irrespective of the objectype or he can give only one objecttype as coreservices and search the keyh% in the coreservices objectype or he can give both the coreservices & subservices as objectype and search the keyword starting with keyh% in both the objecttype it depends on the clients wish who enter it
How to do this can anyone help me..........

Ya you are correct am doing a search....
Let me be more clear to you...
I should have a method in which the client raise a query to search an attribute like "keyp%" which displays all the keywords from my database starting with 'keyp'
The tree view of mine will be just like this
Coreservices (root)
Subservices1 subservices2
(immediate children of the root)
careactivities1 careactivities2
(immediate child of (immediate child of
the subservices1 ) the subservices2)
The root ,the immediate children of the root and the immediate children of the subservices has some attributes each..
The client has to get the attributes starting with something for example like he wants to search an attribute starting with "keyp%"
& also the client can give (keyp%, Coreservices,Subservices1) which means that the attribute starting with keyp must be in the careActivities1 under the Subservices1
else the client can give only (keyp%, CoreServices) which means that the attribute starting with keyp must be in any of the careactivites under the coreservices root
else the client can give only (Coreservices , Subservices) which means that all the attributes under the specified subservices 's careactivities will be displayed.
Like this the client can give his own input of passing one or more inputs at runtime (its the wish of the client he can pass one, two or three inputs at runtime) & search for the attribute in the treeview...
I hope so that am clear now if not pls let me know i will try to make it more obvious...

A foreach loop uses an enumerator. If you change the collection, the enumerator is invalidated, so you can't change the collection while you are looping it.

What do you mean? What does removing an item have to do with the loop if you do it outside the loop?
Why are you using a loop anyway? You are removing the same table regardless of what table you are referencing in the loop.

mydataset.remove(table) <-- table does not exist in the current context.
Because its outside the loop.
Im using a loop to iterate through all tables. I think i have to remove it by index.
The names are all the same anyway.

Use a for or while loop, or store the references to the tables to be removed in a list.

Hi All. I must write an windows app where i must be able to send a message to a pager,E-mail and an SMS to a cell phone. I managed to get the e-mail working, but not such luck with the SMS or sending a messgae to a pager. I am not getting much help with the help files. Is there anyone that can perhaps help me?
