Then you are loosing the session and getting a new session for the next page.
The browser has to accept sessions cookies for the server to be able to identify the user.

how to convert a text field in Access database to a hyperlink in the browser because when i read the hyperlink fields from the Acccess database and display to the browser its output is like a comment #http:...# i want the link to displayed as a link itself. Is there a way that a text field in access can be read to the browser like a link???...pleeeeease hellp

A hyperlink fiels in the database has nothing to do with a hyperlink on a web page. It's only a hyperlink in the form that is used by Office applications. There is nothing built in to create a web link from it.
Either read the value from the hyperlink field and split it up into the name and url, or store the informantion as regular text fields. Either way you use the information to put in a regular link on the page.

I am constructing my gridview dynamically. Special characters like ( ş,ç,ğ ) can bee seen on the grid perfectly but when i try to take them from the grid like (grid.SelectedRow.Cells[0].Text) special characters become some meaningles character set like (#&199).
Could anyone help me it is very urgent.

You may need to use the Encoding to read the value, and you might also want to check out the value of the Encoding used at the client side so that you can see the special characters viewed correctly.

Hi..
This event handler doesnt execute in my web application even i have used the sessionState InProc mode.I couldnt make it work(automatically).
I wanted to use it to count my website visitors(Decrement Count Number) so are there any way to count my current WebSite Visitors automatically?

Are you sure that it doesn't execute?
Are you aware that it doesn't execute when the browser is closed, but 20 minutes (with default setting) after the last page was requested?

Yes i am sure it doesnt work even after 20 minutes after that last request.I have added the element:
<sessionState mode="InProc" timeout="1"></sessionState>
to the web.config file but the Session_End doesnt execute and the Session_Start executed when i refresh the page after one minute after last page request..

What code have you put in Session_End, and how did it lead you to the conclusion that it doesn't execute?

The code just decrement a number(a static member in the global) and send an email to me:

What does the tracker object do? Are you sure that it can be created in this environment?
Decrement the number before you create the tracker object, in case that causes an exception.

Well I used the code in the following article to create the tracker object:

But the WebSite Visitors number is independent of this article and depends only on the static int member that is incremented in the Session_Strat and decremented in the Session_End .

The very first thing that the constructor of the tracker object does, is to try to get the context for the current request. As the Session_End event isn't run as a result of a request, there is no context, so it will only get a null reference. When it will try to use the reference, that will result in a null reference exception.
It's as I suspected. The Session_End is executed just fine. It's just the code that you put in it that doesn't work.

Sorry for being late..You are right about my mistake:create a tracker object in the Session_End Handler:
tracker=new EProjects.AdministratorSite.SessionTracker();
But I have modified the code to:
tracker=(EProjects.AdministratorSite.SessionTracker)Session["Tracker"];
Like the article code but I got the same result(nothing happend).
I made a test for the Session_End by writing a code that only send a simple message using SmtpMail.Send() and nothing happend too...
Then I made another test by removing the sessionState element and nothing happend too.
May be because I deal with a Web Hosting Server(Iam not the Web Server) there is something different I dont know what is it?!

The SqlDataSource control only supports a single view, it means you cannot use a single SqlDataSource object to return multiple result sets. Instead, you can use multiple SqlDataSource objects, or write code to return a single dataset object having 3 difference tables and bind it to the dropdownlist controls, also you remember to set the DataMember property accordingly.

I have a <b>datagrid</b> control on webpart, in which I am displaying two out of six columns from a dataset. When somebody click on one row, I want to display all six values for that row on the same webpart without postback. i made this datagrid clickable. i m passing value using the following code.
