If you use the method above, and pass it node '13', it will process '131' and '132' before doing 13. You're not using the treeView.Nodes are you?
What ever owns the 1, 11, 12, 13 & 14 nodes (treeView or another node) won't have 131 and 132 in it's Nodes collection, node 13 will. A TreeNode object has a Nodes colleciton just as TreeView does. That's why the method above accepts a TreeNode, and pocesses it's children before itself.
Maybe I don't fully understand you question.

I am using standard OpenFileDialog window. Is there a way to suppress (disable) the New Folder button, so that the user does not have the ability to create new folders?

I don't see a 'New Folder' button in the OpenFileDialog, so i can't help you there. But if you are using the FolderBrowserDialog, set the ShowNewFolderButton property to false.

There is no problem - that is the intended behaviour and there is (rightfully) no way to overcome it.

When MS release .Net 3.0 and C# 3.0, will these be compatible with VS 2005, does anyone know? I've only just stumped up the cash for VS, and I'm looking forwards to having to stump up even more!

1.1 was not compatible with VS.NET, 2.0 is not compatible with 2003, I don't think 3.0 will be compatible with 2005  .
I've found a living worth working for, but I haven't found work worth living for.

It currently is compatible with VS2005. Keep in mind that .NET 3.0 is just a marketing term. It really uses .NET 2.0 - but has tons of extra classes added in.

Kind of true. It uses the 2.0 CLR (unlike the .NET 1.1 to 2.0 transition, no CLR changes are required this time around). However, it does use a new .NET framework base class library that is superset of of what's currently available.

Do you know if MS is going to increment the assembly versions from 2.0 to 3.0? I certainly hope so, otherwise it will be very confusing.

But you'll still be able to use it from VS 2005. That's the point, albeit with add-ins or whatever.

Can we be so sure though? There's already a C# 3.0 spec out there with all of the LINQ stuff integrated. Wouldn't it make sense to put C# 3.0 into .Net 3.0?

C# 3 will be released post-.NET 3. This has been stated several times by the Microsoft folks. .NET 3 will be released with Vista (i.e., in a few months). C# 3 and VB9 will ship with Visual Studio codename Orcas, which will be released some time after Vista is released.

Well, names change all the time. Now it's the object services, which is part of the ADO.NET entity framework. Means basically the same thing to me though: an ORM that's built into the framework instead of as a 3rd party tool.

Is that right? I know you can use the ".NET 3" beta with the WinFX/.NET 3 extensions for VS2005, but I wasn't sure if they'd still allow that for 2005 or if they'd induce us to upgrade. It would be nice if the release schedule of .NET 3 wasn't tied to a VS release, which usually is delayed.

Considering how long it took for VS2005 to hit the market, I would be shocked to death if MS somehow was able to pull VS2006 out of their arse by the time Vista is officially released. This leads me to believe that .NET 3.0 will run in VS2005.

hi,
i want to check a table whether it contains a particular column or not if it does't contain it than it should be added to the table, all thing should be done through Stored procedure and the name of TABLE and COLUMN must be passed as arguments or parameters to the procedure......
