Friends,
I've a Win32 handle to a window of type SysListView32. I want to attach this Window handle to .NET managed object of type ListView. Back during the days of MFC/C++ we did it something like:
CListView *pListView = CWnd::FromHandle(hListView);
size_t itemCount = pListView->GetItemCount();
How can i do the same in C#? The reason behid doing so is that i want to call the methods of ListView object to perform operations on ListViewControl such as getting number of items, clearing all items e.t.c.

I don't think it's possible!! The two types are totally different. It's like attaching the handle of a dialog to a windows form.

In drawing event I can change fonts, colors and such properties of tooltip.
I can draw a picture but it seems there is no direct way to change the size of the tooltip 
I have to change the bounds. If there is an alternative way, it is also acceptable.

If you want to increase the bounds of a ToolTip, override the Popup event handler, and change the PopupEventsArg.ToolTipSize property.

I want to convert a word file to pdf file how should can i do it using c#.
Also I am using vs.net 2003 and .net framework 1.1.

This is a pretty broad question. Word does have export filters for PDF. If you are talking about a generic solution that will take a .DOC file and convert it to .PDF without an interaction, there are quite a few commercial libraries out there that you can link into your application that will do the job.

Pls can you suggest some commercial libraries. Actually what i want is a component that will provide API's which will take word doc file as input and generate pdf file as output.

Hello
The idea of dlls is to extract some code out of the exe file and put it into another file so that it could be shared among different applications- among other uses of dlls of course-
I assume that you don't have the source of the dlls, otherwise you would have incorporated them directly into your code.
Two options
1- Hide them somewhere where the user can't access them -like Windows\system32 folder-
2- Second option is a very stupid one -but will do exactly what you want-, is to put them in the resource file -this way they will be compiled as resources in your exe file. when you want to call a method or declare a class:
a- read the from the resource file
b- write the ina temp.dll with FileShare.None attribute
c- use reflection to declare types and call methods
d- Delete the temp.dll
Yet again the last option is a VERY stupid one -my opinion- and will take a lot of effort, besides the user will be able to see your temp.dll anyway

i am going to implement distributed compilation of csharp project and i cant manage to divide huge project into smaller compileable parts..........i need some help on it...........i have posted it again in detail which is
i have made a program that works as follows
1->i browse some csharp project and open the main .cs file
2->the program compiles that project and reports errors as we compile in .net compiler
i want to make my program work in this order
1)select a project of csharp
2)the program should divide the project into independently compileable parts
3)then it should display a list of those parts
4)on selecting one part it should compile that part
5)then after compiling all parts on selecting one by one it should link all the seperately compiled parts to generate exe and show the output

Its a difficult problem thats for sure.
VS2005 currently is able to compile several projects in parallel, but this only works for projects in the solution that don't depend on eachother.
If you can at least get that scenario to work, you're well on your way in building a distributed compiler for different compile units.
In the meanwhile, checkout the CodeDom compiler and check MSDN for more info on how to use it. It should be able to make several parts of the assembly using parallel compile processes and link them together afterwards. I'm pretty sure you can even link external libraries with it.
I think a solution that does the following should be possible:
1. Master compilter pre-processes code units to discover internal dependencies between files
2. Master compiler sends out code units to be compiled by the slaves
3. Slaves compile non-dependend code units parallel and dependend units sequential (this part is hard).
3. Slaves send results over to the master compiler
4. Master compiler links the units together and links in external libraries
5. Output is send back to the user including both the compiled assembly and a report.
While this looks simple, this is really not an easy job. I would build several prototypes to research every step of the building process and start building the solution after that.

Hello,
I have 2 MS Access databases, In each database I have a table called catlog. What I want to do is to check the catlog table in database (B) and pass over each row to see if it (the row) exists on table (A). If the row doesn't exist, I insert it as a new row, if it does exist I update the existing row.
I want to do that at the runtime of a C# program.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
