Is it possible to record video and still images from Camera attached to TV Tuner card in Visual basic. Also, while I'm primarily a C# developer I can quite happily converse in both because the majority of the what people "think of" as C# or VB.NET is actually the framework which is common to both. 45,000 common things versus about 100 differences. It isn't too difficult to pick up the minor differences between the two languages. You see this application is to be used by doctors while they are performing operations so that they can record the video and take photographs and save the file to patient record. Now as you know during operations they cant use their hands to operate a computer so they need a foot operated paddle which if presed continuesly for 3 seconds the video should start recording and if pressed for one second it must take snapshots. I need to know how can I do this either by using serial port or the usb port.
