I have also one of the major problem..
Each module consist of ascx (asp/net user controls) & programming script and database script – modules can be any programming/database (PHP/mySQL or ASP/mySQL or ASP/Access or PHP/Access or Asp.net/MS SQL etc etc ) – every time a new module is added the super admin can specify the programming and or database.
How to upload ascx controls for backend administration and PHP User Modules with database script file.
plz help me solve this problem too.

Hi all,
I am creating the Templates for the Repeater Control Dynamically. I am following the below link,

In this, i am using HTML tags to format each row of Repeater (ie Templates).Ok.
Here, this class is always generates the Row (Template) in same format, which is specified in the class.
My Aim :
Here, i wish to implement the Design ( HTML formatting) of Each Template & Controls in that Template from outside class.
Hence i can use the same Template (MyTemplate) class for Creating different varieties (style) of Templates for different Repeater Control without writing one Template class for each Repeater.
How to achieve this?

Hi
I am using cookie to store unique encrypted token, i want to use the cookie expire time 8 hours.
I doing like below to expire:
Cookie.Expres = DateTime.Now.AddHours(8)
Its working in my local system as both are in same time zones. I got the problem when I deployed my application to Server, unfortunatley this server is in GMT time zone and my client is in GMT+5:30 time zone, So when i login to my ASP.NET application cookie expiration is taking I hour + some minutes more to expire. I can even see this in my cookie file expires attribute in my local machine.
How to set cookie expire property when server and client are in diffrent timezones.
Could anybody help me as it is become critical ?

You will have to get the users time with JavaScript and send that to the server and then calculate the cookie based on that.

Dear All,
I wish to implement the Expand / Collapse Operation on the Text. While it is in Collapse mode, only 3 lines of Text need to be displayed & on otherhand while it is in Expand mode, i wish to display the entire lines Text (eg 10 lines).
My Qn:
1 . Which Control is suitable to Display the Text in both Expanded / Collapsed mode?
2 . How to achieve this through JavaScript?
3. Also i need to display + image for Collapsed mode & - image for Expanded mode. While Clicking on Image, this operation has to be done. How?
I am expecting all your valuable suggestions.

Hi there,
I don't know of any built-in control that supports what you want, but you can easily implement on your own with simple script. If you observe CodeProject carefully, you will see that you can learn the script, for example when you expand/collapse the message content, or when you see a long snippet of code like this one[^]. Now that what you might need to do to collect it is to view source the web page.

As per 'minhpc_bk's explaination previously, it works very fine.
method 1:
You can use the CSS file directly to set the Proerties of GridView. It is a direct method.
Int this, if u want a same formatting again for another GridViews,then u need to specify that CSS file's #id or .class ,etc. on each & every GridView.
method 2:
In this u need to create a Skin file. In that, you need to specify the CSS file's file's #id or .class ,etc. in your GridView control . Now where ever u may use the GridView, u can get the formatting without specifying anything.
Thats all it is!!

you will find the Send SMS World Web Service, this web service Send unlimited free SMS to a countries who support it.
Second.
add Web service Reference to your ASP.NET project
the address is http://www.webservicex.net/sendsmsworld.asmx
The name for the reference is in this example is ServerSms
third.

first of all thanks to all those who have replied to my earlier queries. This site is of great use to me.
I have created a web page login.aspx with the following controls in it: 5 labels, 3 textboxes, 1 radiobutton list,1 checkbox list and 1 button.
now i need to write a code which would display either in another webpage or as a pop-up window, the details of the controls along with their ID's in login.aspx page.
the desired output should be something like:
Labels: 5 (Label1, Label2, Label3, Label4, Label5).
Textboxes: 3 (TextBox1, TextBox2, TextBox3).
RadioButtonList: 1 (RadioButtonList1).
CheckBoxList: 1 (CheckBoxList1).
Buttons: 1 (Button1).
Hopeto get a response to my query. Thanks in advance to all those who wish to reply to my query and yes..thanks to this site. Iam relly grateful.

You can not display a complete page inside the code of another page. You have to remove the page frame, so that you only display the contents of the body tag.
