It won't return a value since your method (i.e sum) is void.

public int sum(int a, int b)
looks like an int return type to me fella
Problem is NOTHING is being returned....at all...as in NO return statement

I need to capture the browser close event( when user clicks the 'X' button on top right) to confirm from the user if he wants to save the data on current page. I am able to capture the event by window.obeforeunload = ConfirmOnClose(this is name of function). Now when the user clicks on "Yes" to save the data, i use the method __doPostBack to call the method to save my information. The problem i am faced with now is that a Default Message Box of window also prompts up to ask the user
"Are you sure you want to navigate away from the page.
Press Ok to continue or Cancel to stay on the current page."
This message box is not needed and i want to supress it.
I have tried to do window.opener='', but that also doesnot help.
I am using Asp.net 2.0 environment.
I need it very urgent. All suggestions will be highly appreciated.
i am pasting the code for reference:
function ConfirmOnClose()
{
if(window.event.clientY < 0 && window.event.clientY < -80)
{
if(Page_ClientValidate())
{
var result = confirm("Do you want to save the data in the form?")
if(result)
{
__doPostBack('ibtn');
}
}
}
}

How do I create a multipage control dynamically?
Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.TabStrip tabControl = new Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.TabStrip();
tabControl.ID = "tabcontrol1";
Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.MultiPage multipage1 = new Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.MultiPage();
multipage1.ID = "multipage1";
tabControl.TargetID = multipage1.ID ;
Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.Tab tab=new Microsoft.Web.UI.WebControls.Tab();
tabControl.Items.Add(tab);
lbl1 = new Label();
pageview1.Controls.Add(lbl1);
multipage1.Controls.Add(pageview1);
There is nothing coming out for this code. But, am able to create the multipage and tabstrip control at design time and get it working.
But, I need them to be generated dynamically to call from another control.
Please help

I actually consider myself to be at least an intermediate developer, and am a little embarrassed to admit that I never put much thought into something that has stared me in the face for years. Can anyone tell me what the portion of the url inside the parenthesis is? It's not part of any url that we redirect to within our application. I had thought it was the address of a cached page, generated within IIS, but I've spent hours trying to find out more about it, in hopes of finding a way for it to not be displayed in my address bar.
Our client accidentally emailed the path similar to the one below to many people as a appropriate place to link to. But, it seems that in doing that, people that normally would have less access to the application, gain administrator rights to the application if they are lucky enough to click the link at exactly the same time an administrator clicks the link and authenticates the site. I thought it might be a matter of assuming some of the same session variables as the admin has when visiting a cached page. But, after much failed research, I assumed that maybe I'm just way off base here. Can anyone tell me more about what I'm dealing with here?

Would guess from the symptoms that is's a session identifier of some sort - which explains the difference in functionality you're seeing

"...
Note: If you install any of the Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions, these do not have control add-in support. As a result the WSE configuration tool is not available from the Visual Studio Solution Explorer and you have to use the standalone version of the WSE configuration tool. The WSE configuration tool does install and integrate with all other SKUs of Visual Studio 2005.
