My grid name is Datagrid1
id = DataGrid1.UniqueID() this code is written in itemdatabound event.
I have one hidden field.Store value in that.ok
Now my question is I have to assign this hidden value in datagrid cell using javascript.It's my requirement.So I can't changed.
If u have code for refence,pls give me.

Something like this (in the OnItemDataBound event of your grid):
Dim myHiddenField As HtmlInputHidden
Dim myButton As Button
myButton = DirectCast(e.Item.FindControl("buttonId"), Button)
myHiddenField = DirectCast(e.Item.FindControl("hiddenId"), HtmlInputHidden)
myButton.Attributes.Add("onclick", "JavascriptFunctionName('" & myHiddenField.ClientID & "');")
Then in your javascript function you can use that id to populate your hidden field with whatever data it is that you need.

Hello,
I'm working with active directory and I've used:
directorysearcher search =new...;
search.propertiesToLoad.Add("cn");
That give me the user name. now if I'm also getting the "memberof" property I'm getting alot of groups for the user.
Is there a built in function that tell me if the user is in a specific group instead of writing my own function that will run on all the groups that the user is a member of them and compere?
some thing like:
bool x=isCurrentUserMemberof("myGroupName");

hi,
I want to know how to enable leftpane in all pages in DNN application.
I am using the leftmenu(Links module) in leftpane, blog in the content pane, when i try to add the blog entry (through Add Blog Entry link in blog module). the left pane completely disappeared. only the content pane is displayed with the controls to enter the details.
How to enable the leftpane in this type of application
pls help.

Dear All,
I have added a small piece of javascript code to create countdown timer in the Online Test aspx page. But whenever i click on next button in the aspx page the javascript also get refreshed and stops the countdown. As i need to navigate through the records and display the questions in the aspx page, i need to post back on click of next button. can you please guide me to proceed with the countdown timer in my aspx page.

So you're counting down to a certain time... Now if you keep this time (or datetime) in a session variable, you'll be able to calculate how to 'further-countdown' right?? This makes your javascript continue in stead of start over and over again...

You can't, but you can set the session variable as javascript in your page...
use the Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock function to write javascript to your page..

You can also access the session value in javascript by setting it to a hidden field and then access it in JS.

Dear all
can any body help me when I try to refresh only the AdRotator control. I used tag to do it, but its refreshing the whole page. But I want to refresh only the AdRotator control part. Not the other parts in the web page. I tried it by putting it in panel and by putting it in web user control. In all the cases its refreshing the whole form. Please advoice me in this regard.

I suppose you cannot refresh a control only. You can only refresh pages containing controls, which you've already found out. If you want to rotate ads, either use JavaScript, or place the ad-rotator in a seperate page (using an IFrame for example) and refresh that... I hate frames though, so i'd rather choose JavaScript..

I need to send the current Web Page(including datas) to be sent as HTML Mail on click of Send Mail Button.
(i.e).My page has lot of Input Variables,On click of send mail button i need to send the same page along data and Html Format of the Current Web Page to be sent as HTML Mail.Is there is any way to save the current page as HTML and can be sent as mail.

I am able to open a window using buttin click and few lines of java script code. But I am unable to pass the values of this second or child window browser to the first browser or the parent browser. Can any one of u advice me or give me little much of code to achieve this task.
