If you are intermediate programmer with good background, usually by now you should be looking for best practices, not just knowledge. You may find some advanced books on topic -usually the is no book on advanced C# as a whole with very few exceptions-. For example you might look for books on Database programming, advanced remoting, network programming with C#, etc.. You can browser sites like Amazon[^] for that.

Yet in sites like CodeProjects you would find articles written by people who faced certain problems and solved them. These articles usually provide very practical solutions to problems and are one of the best way to increase your knowledge in programming.

Also forums and discussion borads -again like those in CP- ,offer you a much wider range of problems -and programming by some definitions is no more than problem solving-. There you'd find wide variation of problems that people faced, and this encourages you to search for an answer to help, and in the same time to learn. Even if you didn't get an answer, usually there are more experienced programmers who would provide a best answer for most of the question -most of the time a question would have more than one good answer-. You can learn and increase your knowledge by just browsing problems and their solution.
