I was thinking, how about having a CodeProject Technology and/or Electronics forum? That way people can discuss problems with they're electronics or just general technology problems (software, drivers etc.)

Does anyone else think that this would be a good idea?

And besides, you could just get rid of the Web Development forum (HTML, CSS and Javascript really aren't THAT hard), and just have a PHP forum.

What I would like to see are the following forums:

Client Web Design - HMTL, CSS, JavaScript, Flash(gasp), JAVA, XML/XSLT and so on
PHP/Perl(sacrilege) - PHP, Perl

I think this would bring a huge amount of new members to the site....

Hi,

I would suggest if it is feasible, to have a vertical order logon in the side navigation for CodeProject rather than having at the top. By vertical order, I mean, username, password fields follow each other in next next lines rather than falling in the same line horizontally.

When we have a vertical order, we can control the 'Remember Me' checkbox by keyboard (TabIndex). This would also be in sync with most other logon screens.

Particularly, when we check and logon to CP from shared computers and Internet cafes, I think this should be very useful security measure.

The Code Project has done it before. A while ago (can't remember when but in 2006), the site had a login on the left side of the screen.
