This is developed in Java J2EE environment and The SOAP Services have been implemented using Apache Axis 1.1 and their interfaces are defined via WSDL.
And me accesing this using .Net and c#

Hi, Im having trouble finding out how to ignore installation warnings when I install my windows services in a .NET framework. I want everything to be as automated as much as possible, so I need to know how to setup the installation to ignore warnings. Is there some attributes or properties in System.Configuration.Install that I can turn on to ignore warnings? Thanks for any help provided.

Hello All,
I'm running into a problem and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm trying to data bind two combo boxes to one data table. I've got it to work, however when I change the selection of one combo box, the other one changes as well. I've seen a lot of documentation on how to solve this problem in the 2.0 framework, however, I've not seen any help on this topic so far.
I would like it so that the changes between the combo boxes are independant of each other (i.e. combobox1 can select item 1, and combobox2 can select item 2)

I am by no means a WPF expert, but could it be because both of your controls have the IsSynchronizedWithCurrentItem set to True?

Note: I first posted this question on the Design & Architecture message board for about 4 hours, before deleting the original and recreating it here.
I am building a custom form designer in C#. I need to serialize the code compile unit, and later deserialize and reload the designer surface. I believe that I need to inherit from and implement the abstract DesignerLoader class to support custom loading of a designer and designer components. In particular, implement the IDesignerLoaderHost interface to extend a designer host to support loading from a serialized state.
To quote: http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/06/03/DesignerHosting/[^], "The .NET Framework defines an abstract base class called DesignerLoader that is used to load and save designers from persistent storage. The base class is abstract so that any type of persistence model can be used. This, however, adds to the complexity of implementing the class."
I am having trouble with the "complexity of implementing the class". So, I am looking for samples, examples, snippets and / or guidance in order to get this to work as soon as possible.

Thanks very much for your reply. This example uses an XML file as the storage medium. This method works, however it seems cumbersome considering that I really don't need it in XML format because the process of serialization and de-serialization is a closed circuit in my application. I was hoping to simply use a byte array. I will review the code and let you know if I have any revelations.

Sir,
I have seen your article it is very nice,
I have created a windows control to use it in my web application. That windows
control uses an activeX control DSO Framer control. I made it as an assembly and installed it in to the GAC, but when I tried to display it in the browser nothing is visible. At the place of the control its giving a red mark.
And I am running it in the local intranet only, could you please help me. I am trying to display office doc' in this control. Please help. I would be thankful to you. Please.

When you say a red mark, what do you mean? Is it a red cross on the page? Which browser are you testing it with?
Even though you have created this as a .NET control you are still going to have to adjust the security settings to allow these controls through.

But there wont be any stupid installations. Thats what problem with activeX controls. They contain fully unmanaged code, in scure data. Whcih may be like a body carrying cancer cells in it, at any time they may dangerous. Thats the problem am I not correct Pete.

The OCX you created the wrapper for, as well as the wrapper, must be installed on the client in order for the OBJECT tag in the HTML to use them. You did NOT remove the requirement for a client-side installation, you've actually created a second installation requirement to get your code to work.
If these components are not installed on the client side, you'll see a little red X where the component should show up. This is because the browser can't find the components you specified in the OBJECT tag.

I dont know whether I need to install the ocx or not in this situation, but let me check with it. What essentially I need is I want to run the code whatever I wrote in that assembly this is very imp for me now, mainly I wrote the code for displaying and editing a word content in it. But I am not getting it. I would be thankful if you could help me in this problem. Please.

Yes, you do! You didn't convert the thing to a .NET assembly. You created a .NET wrapper around the control. It won't work without the original control being present and INSTALLED.

Best guess would be that you have a permissions problem. If I were you, I'd create a very simple windows control, forget the DSO Framer control. Get that working in IE, then you will know you've worked through all issues for the simplest possible case, then you can insert the DSO thing into the windows control. It's possible that it's detecting that Active X is in use, and Active X settings need turning on as well.

He's trying to do this so there is nothing that has to be installed on the client-side to show Office documents in a web browser. He's got it stuck in his head that he converted the .OCX control to a .NET assembly and that'll remove the requirement that the client installs a component.

yeah - I spent days trying to help him, and he kept acting like I was trying to take shots at him, b/c I told him he was barking up the wrong tree ( and that he needed to do some work instead of asking over and over for something that obvioulsy doesn't exist ).

No Christian its not because of permissions. It may be because of any problem in creating and registering assembly because here ocx is being converted in to .net assembly, so it must be perfectly converted otherwise it will give problems.
May be in installation process, unknowingly I might have done any mistake.
The 3rd and important problem may be in referring attribute in object tag(like class id etc.). If you can, please guess it. I am in that process only.
About the windows control, how can I display office content in to a windows control, if you could give me some hint. I will deffinitely try with that. Please tell me if you have any idea.
Very important please tell me the meaning for *grin*. Whats that.
