Hello,
i downloaded the new Ajax 1.0 Framework from Microsoft which has been released yesterday or so. Since all the nice ControlExtensions are based on Javascript id like to make some adjustments to them. For instance i planned to have inverted rounded corners in addition to the other ones. My question is, how can i edit the Javascripts, which are located on my harddisk. I'd like to include these "new" Javascripts in my project instead of the orignial ones.
Can anyone give me some advice on this?

Hi,
I am getting an InvalidCastException when I am calling a COM object RTCClient from ASP.NET. Below is the exception:
Unable to cast COM object of type 'RTCCore.RTCClientClass' to interface type 'RTCCore.IRTCClient'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface.
I got know the work arround for this is:
"In your C#/VB.NET code you need to use the Activation Context APIs before
you create your RTCClient object. You will need to use PInvoke to reference
these APIs from your code. The main ones you need are:
CreateActCtx
ActivateActCtx
DeactivateActCtx"
But I am not sure of creating CreateActCtx and play with it. It would be great if some one can help me in doing this.

Some one please help me in solving the below exception.
Below is the exception thrown when I am calling a COM object RTCClient from ASP.NET:

Calling COM from WinForm C# code working fine with no issue. This exception is thrown only when I call this COM from asp.net C# code.

Hi.
I have a strange problem wuth IFRAME.
I have page aaa.aspx with an IFRAME that contain page bbb.aspx.
page bbb.aspx sometimes redirect him self to page ccc.aspx.
The problem is that after I loaded the aaa.aspx page I want to know what page do I see in the IFRAME. (aaa or bbb).
What I've tried to do is to run a JS in the onLoad of aaa.aspx that after 5 seconds get the "src" property of the IFRAME but I saw that even if bbb.aspx redirect to ccc.aspx the source is still bbb.aspx.
I know it complex but I really hope you can help me.

Why don't you just temporarily change the two pages to display the name of each...

I'll explain the problem again:
I don't have access to pages aaa OR bbb.
Thats way I need from the parent page (The one that hold the IFRAME) to know the real URL inside the IFRAME and then I can know whice page is display.

I have problem with session expiration in windows 2003 server. It is being expired even I am continuously using the application. Session may expire if I don't use the application for sometime. But I am continuously using without keeping idle even for 5 min, it is getting expired.I have configured SessionTimeOut to 60 minutes Web.Config though session timeout's in 20 minutes .I need your help very urgent.
But, in windowsXP hasn't the problem .

i am using session variable in no of forms. i want to know how i make session variable to store value COnsistently. that is even after ime out expire how can i persist varible value without increamenting timeout period
say suppose i have longer transaction form .i fear that some time value stored in session veriable may be lost. so how can i with out increamenting value of session timeout
i do not have much idea.

The obvious answer would seem to be to store the value somewhere else. For example, in a database.

hi all,
I am facing an new type of problem. I cant able to find it out. We are developing an web site, in that we created an page to uplaod an file with a title, i used html text box for title and html file (with runat server) for file , whn the user click the button(html button with runat server), file will be uploaded. When i test this code it works well in local, but when i upload the site in the server and test, when i try to open the upload page , the page automatically redirect to index page, here i used only one session, also it's value is not becoming null. I think this is not the session problem.
Can any one give me an suggestion to over come this problem

Hi EveryOne!
I have created a web application,which has registration page for students,when user load the page there is a gridview also show the details of other user's also in the page load,,i need allow user's to edit and update gridview itself,so i have set commandfield for that,so how do i give the coding for that edit and update in codebehind page(i need to give coding for there events eg-:RowUpdating.),not the html page i have already set datasource for retrive the details from database and bind it to gridview so i cant use 2 datasource in form isn't it?
pls help me to do this.

What kind of datasource are you using? You can specify the method for the update command in the datasource and optionally its parameters, if its simple enough there shouldn't be any need for event handlers in your code.
