Hi I m Jay & Im doin a project named"Operating PC Through SMS" for which I require a SMS Gateway which will send my sms in e-mail form 2 my PC & also return the reply in SMS form to my cell phone. I cant find any body who provides a SMS Gateway. Everybody just gives the info abt it. Can anybody tel me where will I find a SMS Gateway. I really need it because my time is running out. Plz Help!

The company I work for has introduced Systems Management Server (SMS) with some rather dractonian rules (that have been developed by burocrats with no idea about developers) Is there a fire wall or something I can install on my PC (incidently I'm a contractor and my development PC is my own, not provided by the company) to stop this SMS sillyness? I'm happy to do without internet access etc, all I need to do is publish my web projects to the server occasionally.
Thanks for any pointers, I'm finiding developing in this environment almost imposible, (eg, no run command allowed, no task manager, can't browse files!!!)
My next desperate move is going to be separate PC's on on the net one off, and transfer files with a USB drive (unitl they get disabled!)

I am Muhammad Naeem and software developer.
My probblem is that when i make a project in vb.net.
after that then i run it on another computer and makes a break point.
then when i run it then no stops at break point and a message appears
when i point through mouse a question mark appears like (?) not hit at break poit.

I really need help with stuff and at this point I'd say that your responsibility would be as a "Peer" (note I didn't say employee) and your status would be as a 1099. I think I could keep at least 20 hours a week of work coming your way. I've been told I'm very easy to work with but that I personally work too much. Hence the call for help.

I've got an offer from this company. I'm hesitating whether to accept this offer because I don't know much about it and i'm not sure whether it's a good company.

Hi, currently I try to obtain the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) which require me to pass an exam 70-271 and 70-272. Now I already complete the book 70-271[^] but I didn't take an exam yet. Based on the sample question from the book, I get 81% of the correct answer. And now I plan to take an exam next week.
From here I would like to have any advice from all of you who has an experience of getting this certificate, what is the strategy to pass an exam? Practic alot??? or try to find the other question relate to this course and take its pre-test?
All of your advice is very valuable for me.

what training do u talking about?? where are from? if u r from hyd, then just check out with
IICT, NGRI, BHEL, ....companies. when i was in my final year, i jut applied in these companies. they will select the candidates by ur acadamics. they will give u training and also give u the chance to work on their projects.
but before posting ur query, just check it once. u have to post detailed query to get the response from the code project members.

I wanna share the basic tips for the beginners whoever are interested to go for Search Engine Optimization Training as their Summer Training. These are
1 - Add your comments to a guestbook and include your url.
2 - Submit your link to the many free online directory sites.
3 - Add comments to blogs with a link to related content on your Website.
4 - Find online forums related to your site and become part of the community and add your signature that links to your website.
5 - Submit on-topic articles to article directories and include your link in the author bio.

I am Final Year Engineering student. I want to get information about connection of computers at different cites.
Actually if I want to computerize a department of any company which have its offices at several cities then what steps I should follow.
Means how I can connect that no of computers in appropriate manner to get desired output.
I want to make it just like railway reservation system through in which if I enter data at same time then database must be able to prioritize data in sequence to enter in database.
Which database & platform or language I should use to code this kind of project.

just check the Florida region in the site www.eknazar.com for the .Net 2.0 Training.
if u r already working on VS2003 then i don't think u need training for asp.net 2.o. u can update ur self. actually i started learning .Net (VS2003) by melf (off course with the help of Code project memebers), now i started doing some examples in VS2005. but i didn't find any major differences while working with these two versions. VS2005 is more easy for me to work with the samples.
go thru this url: http://www.codeproject.com/books/net2_cs2_newfeatures.asp. Patrick Smacchia highlighted features in .NET 2.0 and C# 2.0 is generics.
or u can refer his book http://www.PracticalDOT.NET
u can browse and download the 647 listings and sample chapters so that u can learn Net 2.0.
