This weeks newsletter was really screwed up.
It came late.
It was in the wrong format. Html instead of plain text.
It was missing sections. CodeProject Offers was the heading only, and beneath that was a line of text that simply says
{WeeklyPoll} {MostPopular} instead of the weekly poll results and the most popular articles from the past week.
The footer had the wrong email address. It says that this email was sent to some other email address, not to me.

Todays insider has similiar problems, html format and wrong email address in the footer.
Definitely something screwy going on.

Well then stop typing stupid things. Of course HTML is text, but it is not plain text. I use an email client that does not parse HTML, so when I recieve emails in HTML format they are unreadable. I then have to go through the effort of loading them into another email client that does parse HTML just so I can read them. CP has an option to send all emails in plain text or HTML, I chose plain text and that is how I expect to get my emails.

Ok mate. I said nothing against you. You may have missed this but I was just trying to make light of the situation. If you feel so strongly about this then I suggest you writea letter to management.

I just got the newest insider and it has the same problem as yesterday's. It even has the same wrong user's email in the footer as yesterday's.

I had this same issue, and I'm kinda surprised at the glib responses. Management may be out, but does the reputation of codeproject mean so little to anyone else?

Ack, ya... i've been meaning to complain about that too. Go figure, as soon as Chris leaves, the newsletter and the Insider both switch to gaudy HTML formatting.

Something absolutely horrible happened and, as yet, we've no real idea what. No code changes, no config changes, but it just decides to go loopy on us. The only thing we did do was update our servers with the latest patches from Microsoft but there's no way we can see that these should have caused the problem.
I'll try and find out what's going on from this end, but I do apologise for the mess.
