i want to show the task manager Task Manager's Performance tab in my programm.....i am working on a project and i want to show the CPU usage during execution.....for this i have to go to Task Manager's Performance tab .....i want to access it from my code.....
how can i do it so that the performance graph should appear on one side of my application form.....

I think you are beter of if you try to read the performance monitor, and build your own graph.
there are plenty of examples here that show you how to do that.

You could try using Application Settings. The settings themselves are saved in an xml file, but you can access them easily through the System.Configuration.ConfigurationManager.AppSettings property, without bothering about the xml stuff behind it at all.

Is there any way to show web links as hyperlinks in textboxes.

but i also want to have normal text in the textbox as well, basically its a notes field on my form and the user wants to just click on any webpages that may appear in the notes.

Hi,
I created a new windows application project within visual studio.
I then inserted a new class MDI parent to implement a MDI application.
I substituted the original program main form for the MDI.
When i click in the new icon (the code of the handle to create the new sub form is there), it doesnt make a thing.
What is happening?
Any tips?

What does the code say in the Main method? Step into it, and see if the application exits immediately after you reach the end.
Say you have a main form that you call MyMdiForm, you need to do this in your main method:
Application.Run(new MyMdiForm());

I have several split containers in my form.
I wasnt putting the new form inside the splitcontainer panel.

The most apparent thing is that you are referring to the generic Form class here. Do you have a specific instance that you want to create? For example:
MyForm childForm = new MyForm();
childForm.MdiParent = this;
childForm.Text = "...";
childForm.Show();

Hi all dear coders.
What I have is
- server
- client
- remoted classes
What I trying to do is
- client calls a remoted object method, a method calculated in the server.
this method calculation takes long time, 5-6 seconds.
- while server calculating that method, client sends another method call.
- server must queue these threads, and after calculating completes, let knows the client that process complete, and return a value.

I have MDI application which contains multiple forms, From Main page's main menu i have opened login form. after entering login details, i have to go to main page. i'm going to another page but login page wil not b closing. the Login form should be closed after main page is opened.
How can i do it?

I'm not quite clear of what exactly you want to do, but in my MDI apps, most of the time I put the login controls in a panel instead of a form that can be hidden once login is authenticated. "usually in the middle of the MDI form"
ps. try to avoid using CAPS and urgent in your posts, actually, they work in the opposite way most of the time

- Don't post the same question more than once especially less than an hour after posting the original question. People on these boards give their time freely and don't get paid for their help. Just because something is urgent for you, doesn't mean that somebody else is going to give it their fullest attention until they are ready. Multiple postings makes it less (rather than more) likely that you will get help.
- Try to make the subject more meaningful in describing the problem.
- Don't use text speak. This is annoying. You have a keyboard with far more keys than a mobile has, so use it. You're not a surfer boy so ending something in a Z is just asking for trouble.
- Don't use capitals to try to get our attention.
Now, to answer your question - you are calling the login page at the wrong place. If you want the login form to determine whether or not the main form is actually called or not, you should call it before you even attempt to create the main form. If you look at your main method (static void Main(...)), you will see an line that says something like Application.Run(new MainForm());. You need to call your login form before this, and only call this line if the login is successful. Example:

you can hide first the login form before you open the main form. Simply by doing this.
[LoginFormName].Hide();
[MainFormName].Show();
Normally, you would want to hide the login form so that the application will not quit. But if the login form is not your startup form you can close the close the login form.
[MainFormName].Show();
[LoginFormName].Close();
Notice that the main from will show first then the login form will close. If you do it the other way, the login form will not be able to call the method '[MainFormName].Show();'
