sorry, I have no full code for now
- protected void Session_End(Object sender, EventArgs e) in Global to handle the session time out event
- For onunload event: more info here http://www.w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_onunload.asp, in your handler function you open a window to make request to server to let server remove the session

are these ok?

- to create session: Session.Add("login",objLogin) //you can put any object into the Session state
- to destroy the session object: Session["login"]=null; //set it to be NULL

Still i didn't completed that task,its in ending...........am able 2 end the session using timeout,ok.But..........
I tried to kill the session when i click back button(by writing the code in load event),so that i had to login again when i click forward button.But the code is not working..............plzz check the code

I'm looking for help on my CMS (Sprocket) which I believe is significantly architecturally superior to the god-awful mess that is DotNetNuke. DNN is basically the only major open source CMS for the .Net community (unless you count Rainbow which is basically the C# version of it). There are others, but the only ones I have found are very simple, have mountains of sprawling ASPX/ASCX clutter to try and maintain, and/or are trying to be another 3-column portal engine (like we don't have enough of those).

The CMS already has a large established code base that has been well designed (in my opinion) and has been improved and evolved for over a year now.

Take a look at http://www.sprocketcms.com[^] for a complete feature list and to get access to the open source (BSD license) code base for review. There are several sites running it so far and more in development, but the code base has been 100% written by me and some help would be greatly appreciated to help accelerate things to the point where it can start to be viable competition to DNN.

In particular, I'm looking for some assistance with:
- improving the embedded scripting language
- getting the CMS page admin UI up and running
- building some community-related extensions

This will most definitely be one of the next big open source ASP.Net CMS's available. Help me push it over the line!

Hello every body,

I had downloaded popCalender but I am unable to include it in my toolbox.

Add RJS.Web.WebControl.PopCalendar.dll to the project Reference

Add RJS.Web.WebControl.PopCalendar.dll to the toolbox

Please can anybody tell me how to include these .dll file in project reference and toolbox

right click on toolbox and click choose items...

for project refference

right click on solution explorer and click Add refference and click on browse tab.

Hi, I have a gridview. In that I converted 1column(CampaignName) as a template field (linkbutton).. During runtime if I click on that CampaignName link button I have to get that perticular dataitem.... pls see the code:

Hi pathan , I tried with that code,but throwing "Nullreference" exception.

I debug the code and find out that the code (GVDoctorActivity.SelectedRow.Cells[4].findcontrol('IdofLinkButton'),LinkButton) returning null value. it is not getting dataitem.

just check ur linkButton Id

put ur linkButton id instead of this 'IdofLinkButton'

not sure, but from the error message...you first check your client can "see" the webserver?

Yes the client can see the server, can even see the website the error only comes when the user wants to use the website. The exception Details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: The network path was not found.
