Hello friends,
i don't know anything about COM like how to create or use...Can anybody help me to find the right way to do it.
For example in my project i have a class that deals with all db operations i want to make it as com and use this in some other project please anybody help me ..

you can create a class library in .NET, then you build to get a dll. In other projects, if you want to use these DB operations, just add reference to this dll

Hi i am a new developer in ASP.NET (2.0)....i face a problem while receive information through popup window....i created an employee search form and use this form as a popup in vistor's information page....i open this employee search form as a popup in visitor's form...i successfully search the specific employee in popup but how i will fetch this particular employee to my main visitor information page????
If any one helps me then i shall be very thankful

On close button click of pop window use this code:

On Parent form add this :

i tried tis...actually i need 2 return a date that selected from the popup window...bt whn im select a a date from the calandar in the popup it s postbacking and openning a new window....
and one more hw can i assign value of the arug in the popup?

I think u can take two hidden textbox and return those values.If possible post ur code for 2 problem,I will try to solve it.

in the parent window i hav done this in the HTML button click (in th sript)

For 2 dates u can use two calenders in same child form.
The code below will return one date only but if u put 2 calender and in
controlFromDate.Value = calFromDate.SelectedDate.ToShortDateString();
controlToDate.Value = calToDate.SelectedDate.ToShortDateString();
And
"<script language='javascript'>
window.returnValue='" + calFromDate.SelectedDate.ToString("dd/MM/yyyy") + "^" + calToDate.SelectedDate.ToString("dd/MM/yyyy") +"'
Finally u can split this at ^.U will get 2 dates
Do this:
On Parent Window:
function PickFromDate()
{
var winSettings = "dialogWidth:300px;dialogHeight:250px; help: no; status: no";
var values = window.showModalDialog('Calender.aspx','cal',winSettings);
if (values)
{
document.all("txtFromDate").value = values;
}
}
On Child Form .cs add this:

Do one thing put onemore aspx from between the 2.
Put the following code in it:
<iframe src="..\FolderName\Calender.aspx" width="100%" height="100%">
</ iframe>
If ur both parent and child form in same folder the no need to give foldername.
On parent form open this form.If it still give error then tell me.

Hi,
Is there any way to identify any float values are there inside a datatable's coulmn.
For example : if my data table's column contains the value like this 1,2,2.2
I need to identify that this column has a float value 2.2..Else if my column is having 1,2,3 then no float values in the column.
Please show me a right way ..
