The right places haven't changed between XP and Vista. The directory names changed, but that won't matter if your code is written properly. Use SHGetFolderPath() or the new SHGetKnownFolderPath() to get paths to dirs like Documents , Downloads , etc.

Hi,
Does anyone know the code how to make Not Visible a picture frame when a radio button is pressed and then make visible again when another radio button is pressed?
Thanks
Ibs

Do you use of a control for show picture if yes use of ShowWindow(SW_SHOW | SW_HIDE)
I'm using radio controls to show/hide the picture control. Would I write something like this?:
IDC_PLACEHOLDER->ShowWindow( SW_HIDE );
I did this and got an error saying:
error C2227: left of '->ShowWindow' must point to class/struct/union
Any ideas. Thanks.

How do you show your image I think IDC_PLACEHOLDER is an ID of a control if yo have any control you must declare a variable for it and use of ShowWindow
Could you solve your problem ?
Not problem if you cant declare a variable for your control(I dont think you have problem with declare) use of this code GetDlgItem(IDC_PLACEHOLDER)->ShowWindow( SW_HIDE );
What happens?

Add control variable on Picture Control and use ShowWindow api to sho/hide control!

Hi I am new in VC++ I want to work on a game I've downloaded a game engine named Irrlicht I've done what is written in its tutorials e.g including files, directories etc.. For example I have a file named Irrlicht.h with several other headers and its in other directory than VC++ projects directories. I include it properly but when I compile it, it says Irrlicht.h not found. I've included the directories Tools -> Options -> VC++ Directories, if I'm doing wrong please guide me through this. Any answer will be welcomed.

If I understand the question correctly ...
What about #include "<dirName>\Irrlicht.h" // <file path>

Does anyone know how to implement a tracker that will take either MM or inches? Let's say if I was to set a rectangle to 1 inch, I'll get 96 pixel. But setting 1.005 inches will also give me 96 pixel. Then I can move the tracker without losing the 1.005 inches. If I only get 96 pixel, then converting it back will only get 1 inch and I'll lose the .005 inch.

As opposed to what?

Well, with CRectTracker. m_rect is only stored in pixel. That mean I can't really store 1.005 inch as the size.
Implement the tracker using double variables instead of int/long.
Only do integer conversions when necessary - like when converting to pixels.
