you can loop through all items of the listbox

actully i want to fetch data from database and assinging parameter value
through listbox.selected value which can be multiple for example
select * from tablename where id=listbox1.seletedvalues

i think you can't convert asp.net to j2ee - There are many reasons (CLR & JVM)
it is subject of debate ASP.NET > JSP or JSP > ASP.NET i think in this forum all are ASP.NET lovers than JSP
i never have come across any loop hole i think it totally depends on Design and
developers

Neither is secure, if you don't use it properly. Both are secure, if you do.

ASP.NET is just an ASAPI filter, an HTML generation engine. As I said, security problems are caused by bad code, not the framework.

is there any reality in it???
can you give me any example of improper use leading asp.net to be unsecured???

It's hard to compare the systems. It depends on a lot of things, like what operating system they are run on, and how interresting it is for hackers to penetrate the system. However, if there are any differences in the security, they are very small in comparison to the security level of an average web application. As Christain said, the security holes are in the applications, not in the framework.

There are many examples, like SQL injections[^] or XSS[^], but almost all of them boil down to one thing: Using input from the user as if it was known and secure. Input is evil[^].

You can use document.Form1.elements[0].type=="text" to find whether the control is textbox or not.

There are many ways to do it Querystring and viewState is one of them ,
But i think you should store all those values which you need in the future
try this
Add in class file and create static string variables that will store your values

now set the values
as datacontainer.PersonId = TextBox1.Text;
and get by datacontainer.PersonId
