Hi,
you have to add a attribute to that button during the page load event of the form that would call the popup .the code for that is like:

loginButton.Attributes.Add("onclick", "window.showModalDialog('/MyWebsite/login.aspx', null, 'status:no; dialogWidth:360px; dialogHeight:229px; help:no; scroll:no; menubar:no; resizable:no')");
***********************************************
This code is for modalDialog
or for popup
button.Attributes.Add ("onclick", "javascript: functiontoopenpopup();");
this will open the popup window.
In the popupwindow code....on the Page_unload you have to write this code.

window.close();
window.opener.location.reload();
*****************************************
This will close the popup and refresh the parent window.

Main Page ---> Popup1(opened from main page) ----> Popup2(opened from Popup2)
i have to refresh the mainpage when popup2 gets closed....
how can i do this....

Hi i am using frameset in my form...,
The one frame contain header another frame detail page...,
in that detail page want to be display based on the system propeties...,
it means in that place i dont want any scroll bars...,
the page want to be display with in that frame...,
How to do that?,

if you dont want the scroll bar you can use
"scrolling=no" attribute in to a frame

ya if u give scrolling="no" it will not show scroll bars...,
But if u give like that,in that details page some of the information will be hide...,
My question is, if i give scrolling="no" also.., what are the things i have in that page everything want to be diplay with in that frame...,

My frist questen would be, why you can't use
the "+ operator" ?
The only thing that I got in mind is
to go through a for-loop, increasing
the number every time.
But this won't help either, you have
to use the "++ operator".

CSS Positioning-->Check both the checkboxes -->click OK

When we should use SqlDataSource and when we should ado.net datareader etc...What are the criteria to choose.....

The SqlDataSource control allows a developer to access data stored in any relational database that supports ADO.NET. It can use the System.Data.SqlClient provider to access a SQL Server database, the System.Data.OleDb provider, the System.Data.Odbc provider, or the System.Data.OracleClient provider to access Oracle. Therefore, the SqlDataSource is certainly not only used for accessing data in a SQL Server database.
In order to use the SqlDataSource, you simply provide a value for the ConnectionString property and specify a SQL command or stored procedure. The SqlDataSource control takes care of working with the underlying ADO.NET architecture. It opens the connection, queries the data source or executes the stored procedure, returns the data, and then closes the connection for you.
