hello;
I am using asp.net 2.0
I have problem with using fileupload control
its work fine with textfile and images
but i have tried for example to upload pdf file
but it dose not work

Hi using store procedure,i displayed my records in datagrid...,
Now i want to make it user friendly..,
Means in that form i will give radio button,
Which one i select based on the value, my datagrid values want to display...,
Suppose i have 2 radiobuttons...,
One is "employee id" another one "employee name" like...,
If i select employeeid radio button then in that datagrid want to display based on id..,
Otherwise if i select employee name then records want to display ascending order employee names...,
With out server code i want to do this action using javascript...,
Plz anyone tell me how to do that...,

I dont know the way of how to make it with javascript but i suggest you to use ajax tech to adjust it more friendly.If you decide to use ajax, you need to use updatepanel to make it whatever you want how to be like friendly or etc.

Hello friends, I reinstall my IIS but after restarting visual studio 2003 I got error such that the you are not using Microsoft .NET framework 1.1 therefore web applicaitions will not execute. Any suggestions for me?

.net may not have been registered with IIS. Run aspnet_regiis.exe

Hi,
I have a certain peice of code written in master page, and on the click of a button which is on the master page i want to execute that code on the basis of the current page loadad in the contentplaceholder.
Please help me to find out a way by whihc i can determine which page is currently loaded in master-page.

I suspect that you can do this with reflection, or by examining the Id of the parent control. However, an easy way to build this would be to create an enum representing all the different pages, or even just those pages you especially want to recognise, and one value for all you don't. Make the page set this property in it's master page, in the init method. The property itself is a member variable of the master page.

I'm using Ajax Beta 2.0 version in asp.net 2.0 ,after using UpdatePanel I got System.Request.PageRequestManagerServerException: An unknown error occure while processing the request on the server.Status code returned was 12031.
at the button click event .
why this exception is comming and how to solve this problem please guide.

It will depend on what you are doing with the ASPX page. If you are accessing a database, some seek time occurs, if you are compressing pages added time occurs. There are many factors and usually there are way to at the very least reduce the slow loading.
What are the ASPX pages doing?

Hi,
I have a website with dotnet application which is a http site. i have to change a single page in the site into https page. ie., for ex.. if i have http://www.yahoo.com/inbox.aspx,... i have to change it to https://www.yahoo.com/inbox.aspx...... Further, my site is already RSA secured. I have SSL certificate also. Iam working with IIS server in windows XP. Anybody pls tell me the steps to convert Http to Https using SSL in Asp.Net?
