1. If you want to insert values from the stored procedure, then you will have to call that
procedure and fill the table using SQlDataAdapter

DataTable table = new DataTable();
SqlDataAdapter adapter = new SqlDataAdapter()
adapter.Fill(table);

Else here is a sample code for datatable. (If you really don't know anything about using datatables.

DataTable table = new DataTable();
DataColumn col1 = new DataColumn("select",Type.GetType("System.Boolean"));
DataColumn col2 = new DataColumn("Name", Type.GetType("System.String"));

table.Columns.Add(col1);
table.Columns.Add(col2);

DataRow r1 = table.NewRow();

Create a new datatable as
Datatable dt=new Datatable();
whatever columns u would like to insert add them.
if(dt.columns["a"]==null)
dt.columns.add(a);
if(dt.columns["b"]==null)
dt.columns.add(b);
if(dt.columns["c"]==null)
dt.columns.add(c);

DataRow dr = dt.NewRow();
dt.Rows.Add(dr);
dt.AcceptChanges();
nextadd the values into datatable as
dt.rows[0]["a"]=txtbox1.text;

i need a editable gridview without showing edit button in asp.net.

You have to do manually.

Problems with Visual.NET

I am having very very strange problems woth VS.NET, I am opening toolbox option having all the web form components but the pin for enabling or disabling auto hide properties just not seem to appear opposit to "x"(cross sign),I want to enable the auto hide property of my toolbox but without the pin sign it is not possible, any one has some idea how it can be achived.

Right click the Toolbox titlebar and choose "Dockable". Now drag your Toolbox and place it on any side. The Auto Hide button will appear

When ever, I call lookup, it has to show me the above form. I must able to send query to this form so as to display filed list and select the data corresponds to that.

Need of help on how to longer the session time out in a web site..

I added

<sessionState TimeOut="120"/> in the web config file

I will like to prolong the time out time to two hours

Did i do it the right way cos i have problem on it?

Showing a modal dialog box or form when the application is not running in UserInteractive mode is not a valid operation. Specify the ServiceNotification or DefaultDesktopOnly style to display a notification from a service application.

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
