the problem is, to wait for a timeout on the server, means your own page will time out. I don't think it can be done, if you redirect to a page, your page has lost control, so it can't then redirect if the first page fails, unless it uses frames or something.

Dear Experts,
I am integrate Payment of Authorize.net into my shopping cart.
I have a code lines:
string url = "https://certification.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll";
StringBuilder strBuilder = new StringBuilder();
strBuilder.Append("x_login=" + login_ID + "&");//I have already login_ID
strBuilder.Append("x_tran_key=Tran_Key&"); //I don't know
strBuilder.Append("x_method=CC&");
strBuilder.Append("x_type=AUTH_CAPTURE&");
strBuilder.Append("x_amount=1.00&");
strBuilder.Append("x_delim_data=true&");
strBuilder.Append("x_delim_char=|&");
strBuilder.Append("x_relay_response=false&");
strBuilder.Append("x_card_num=" + card_num +"&");
strBuilder.Append("x_exp_date=092008&");
strBuilder.Append("x_test_request=true&");
strBuilder.Append("x_version=3.1");
string strPost = strBuilder.ToString();
StreamWriter myWriter = null;
HttpWebRequest objRequest = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(url);
objRequest.Method = "POST";
objRequest.ContentLength = strPost.Length;
objRequest.ContentType = "application/x-www-form-urlencoded";
try
{
myWriter = new StreamWriter(objRequest.GetRequestStream());
myWriter.Write(strPost);
}
catch (Exception e)
{
return e.Message;
}
finally
{
myWriter.Close();
}
HttpWebResponse objResponse = (HttpWebResponse)objRequest.GetResponse();
using (StreamReader sr = new StreamReader(objResponse.GetResponseStream()))
{
result = sr.ReadToEnd();
// Close and clean up the StreamReader
sr.Close();
}
return result;
All requests are failed because i have not know x_tran_key (Transaction Key).
How can i get the Transaction Key?
Thank in advance,
Kiet

As someone else said, their website is far more likely to help, I doubt most of us have ever used authorize.net, so how can we help you ?
I would guess that the transaction key is the thing you need to get to be authorised to use the site, but I really have no idea.

I suggest you to generate those tags dynamically on button click event.

Tell you what. While I'm knocking that up for you, would you mind popping round and tiling the bathroom, redoing the electricals and digging the garden.

No, the site's still there.

Well, assuming we had it, and gave it to you, that would not be coding, now would it ? Why don't you buy a book, work through it, and ask specific questions as you work through this task.
Or try google, and find some source code to work with.

I have a user control built with a checkbox list as part of it. It was built by someoneelse and i am just attempting to use it. I want to be able to handle the checkboxlist selectedindexchanged event when using the control as part of another webpage. Can someone help me as to how I should do this please? Its got me a little confused. I have set up a property to return the checkboxlist as an object but don't know how to set it up to get the event.
i have snipped and edited down the whole control and it is detailed below. Sorry if its a lot of code but better that you have all the info.
<%@ Control Language="VB" ClassName="ctlDropDownCheckBox" %>
<script runat="server">
Protected Width As Long = 150
Public ReadOnly Property List() As CheckBoxList
Get
List = chkResults
End Get
End Property
</script>
<div style="width:<%= Width %>px;">
<div id="<%= Me.ClientID %>" style="position:relative;">
<div class="uiSelectTopBox"><span id="<%= Me.ClientID & Me.ClientIDSeparator & "Count" %>"></span><input type="button" onclick="javascript:<%= Me.ClientID %>_Focus();" onfocus="javascript:<%= Me.ClientID %>_Update();" onblur="javascript:<%= Me.ClientID %>_Update();" style="position:absolute;right:0px;top:0px;bottom:0px;border:1px solid WindowFrame;" value=" ... " /></div>
<div id="<%= Me.ClientID & Me.ClientIDSeparator & "Box" %>" class="uiSelectBox" style="display:none;" onclick="javascript:<%= Me.ClientID %>_Update();" ondatabinding="javascript:alert('100');" >
<asp:CheckBoxList ID="chkResults" runat="server" BorderStyle="none" OnSelectedIndexChanged="chkResults_SelectedIndexChanged">
</asp:CheckBoxList>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Cheers

You don't want to return the checkbox as a property. Use a delegate to define an event when the check changes, that you can then subscribe to in the containing page, and that gets called when the check changed gets called inside the control.

Thanks a ton Christian,
You know when a solution is staring you right in the face and you can't see it!! Most of that I think was down to me using another person's control and attempting to make it work with what they had done...note to self...think outside the box
Cheers

Just a single resx file ? You can't. What do you want to do ?

Do you have static IP ? If yes using that you can access. Or you need to find your dynamic IP when you connect to internet and give that to your friend
