I would like to prevent the user's browser from ever storing and filling in the password automatically on the site that I'm developing, regardless of their browser settings.
Is there a straightforward way of doing this?

Can somebody please guide me for Implementing FLVPlayer compatible with c#.net 2.0
actually i've to allow users to upload their video files in any valid video file format and then play that file using FLVPlayer.
I need to implement this thing in c#.net 2.0

actually i've to implement thailand map. i've searched google maps also but the problem with google map is that it shows location in thai language whereas i need in english lang.
can anybody tell me how to convert locations mentioned on thailand google map in english language or the process to implement the yaho maps in my c#.net website.

Hi all,
I want to make a framework for developing ASP.NET and i see Spring.Net. But i think Spring.Net is not good. Because it has too much configs.
If you know a framework that can be used for developing ASP.NET, please let me know.

you think a framework is no good because it's too configurable ?
ASP.NET is itself a framework for writing web apps, why do you need something that sits on top of that ?

Hi all,
Spring.Net is not only too configurable but also it doesn't really have the structure of files for validation, database, ....
Why i need something that sits on top of that?
Because when i use ASP.Net framework, I don't have good structure of files and interacting between files
Example :
+ Validation
+ Transaction
+ Database
......
So i need a framework that already has structure of files and when i write a file, i know where i put it.

Maybe instead of asp.net you should be using sharepoint if you are doing lots of stuff with files.

Hi.
We have donwloaded and installed SharePoint 2007 (MOSS) evaluation version on one of our servers.
I have a DEV machine with .NET Framework 2.0 and VS 2005 on it. What kind of other tools do I need in order to start creating cutom web parts for SharePoint 2007? Right now my VS 2005 doesn't have an option of Web Part project. I know I need to download something but not sure what and in what order. My DEV machine doesn't have SharePoint on it.

As far as I know, you don't need to use any tool like VS 2005 for creating custom web parts. The build-in tool is already added in SharePoint website. After installing, SharePoint website will be created in your machine. So, go to that website and there is one place where you can create custom web part.

Hi.
Thank you for your reply. I've read your first response but I'm not sure how I can create (or where to find the tool you've mentioned) WebParts.
Here are the steps I've done so far.
1. We have a server with MOSS (SharePoint 2007) installed.
2. I have a DEV machine with VS 2005 and .NET framework (2.0 and 3.0)
3. I've installed Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0 on that DEV machine.
4. I've installed Visual Studio SharePoint Extensions, which gave me these nice icons to create WebPart and other SharePoint projects.
Is this the right way to go?
After all this installations I still didn't have Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal.dll on DEV machine so I've copied it from server where MOSS installed and added to the ISAPI directory where all other dlls are on my DEV machine.
After doing that I was able to create webparts that I've wanted and drop them into bin directory on the server. Of course I've run into some security issues, which I've solved by modifying trust level in the web.config from minimum to medium. I know that there's a way to attach config file for each part you create I just don't know how to do that yet. If you have any references and/or examples, or maybe even books I can read please send them my way.

I don't think these are specific to SharePoint. I was talking about SharePoint specific web parts. See my post from before.

Partial page refresh can't be done without Ajax. So, I believe that it's not possible to refresh the Standard Grid without refreshing the whole page.
Maybe. you may try to use ASP.NET Ajax toolkit or look for Ajax DataGrid..

Saving images through directory is very easy. It is good for intranet web application that runs within Local Area Network. I have done like that for my company's internal photo gallery..
However, it might not be good for internet web application. I'm not very sure about that since I haven't worked for very large photo gallery web application like flickr.

it means uploading the images to web server. and the paths of those images are stored in database.
I think that way is good for local intranet application.

hello
anybody knows that how to set default orientation(Landscape) for Internet Explorer Browser.
