Hi david,
Thanx a lot for replying.
Actually, I have already a software that loads DT files and after that these files are segmented for tumor and ventricles. What I wanna to do is add a button to this existing software.I wanna this button to do labeling on that medical image. For example,I wawant to write vetricles when ventricles appear on slice.Actually, this software was developed by some other person.I jus wanna to add this feature to this existing software.
Can u plz give me guidelines to implement this idea?I have very little knowledge of VC++.
Thanks & Regards,
Ravan

Do you have the source code?

Ok, so just add the button control like you would any other control. Open the resource editor, double-click the dialog template you want to modify, click on the button in the control toolbox and drag it onto the dialog template.

I stopped reading after the first sentence. Please lose the SMS-speak and use proper English.

So what are you needing help with? Responding to a button click? Writing text onto an image? Saving text? Be specific.

Something like this.

actually i have the code to load a image....so i just wanna a code that could add text onto that image....like if say i load a image called map and i want to write the names of the countries on it....

Via the keyboard or code?

Then I'd imagine you would create an edit control at runtime. One of the arguments passed to CreateWindow() is the x/y coordinate of the control. I assume this would be near to where you'd want the "label" to be.

Can you please elaborate it??

First, what sort of indicator are you wanting for knowing when to add the label to the image? For example, are you going to be right-clicking on the image and then bringing up a context menu (with Add Label as one of the choices)?

So which is it, code or keyboard?

Are you using VC++ with .Net? If so you can use a form designer, it's relatively easy. If you're using ATL or MFC, then things maybe be a little more complicated.

on a static text control how do you display special characters like a '&', i.e. "Time & Date Menu".
