I haven't given any initial value of that field in design type.
Foe Ex. The current value of 'Active' field is : 0
Now, I'm fire a update query of other fields except 'Active' field.
But, this query update the value of 'Active' field with 1.
Means, I haven't use this 'Active' field in my Query.
My Query is : update tblProduct set Name = 'xxxx' where ProductID = 1
but, After fire this query, My 'Active' fields value become 1, while it was 0.
So, This is my problem.
Hope you will get this now.
Please, Help me as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Abhi

This sounds like the javascript isn't valid in none-IE browsers. Open your site in Firefox, and debug the pages with Firebug (a FireFox add in).

I seriously doubt it. Give what I suggested a try and see what FireFox complains about.

Have you tested the aplication in another machine ?
Can you post the code that will upload the file at server ?
So you are uploading Text file and after uploading the file the content will be stored in database
Thanks and Regards

Hi,
I am using this lines of code to read from the uploaded file:
FileStream fst = new FileStream(fupsql.PostedFile.FileName, FileMode.Open, FileAccess.Read);
StreamReader sr = new StreamReader(fst);
string qry;
while ((qry = sr.ReadLine()) != null)
{
totqry += qry;
}
sr.Close();
fst.Close();
After that I am storing that string "totqry" in the databse.
Thanks & Regards

The problem is surly with ur database connection. Its not matching with the server path.

Will you please explain which kind of problem it will be.

Most probably regarding your connection string of the database. The connection string won't be mapping with the server.

i think the problem is fupsql.PostedFile.FileName here you are providing path of file in Client machine but server will not assume that its client machine path it will check for the that path in its machine thats why it is giving File not found
Do one thing first store that file at server then read the content add to database and then delete the file ftom server machine
Thanks and Regards

Please see what error he is geting i think it is not related to connection to database , as error is saying file not found at the time of reading only

Hi,
It is working fine on ur local machine.
I think the problem is probably the connection to database is not mapping with server.

How can be ?
fupsql.PostedFile.FileName gives client machine address at the time of devlopment if client and server are same then code will work fine but at any another machine it will throw file not found exception
