I would like to implement an alert notification functionality like Outlook's reminder in ASP.NET to notify user their tasks.
Do anyone having any idea/sample to adress my needs?

hi
i am trying to retrieve an encrypted value from a database table and decrypt it using symmetric-TripleDES algorithm.
While doing, am getting an exception as "Bad Data" at FlushFinalBlock();
i tried a lot, but in vain. Please help me to decrypt the string.
(i should use TripleDES algorithm only)

Can anyone tell me in step by step how to enable AJAX in VSS 2005. i need to know what are thae things needed to be installed if first step and also a steps to add a simple AJAX control in my sample application(any control). If you know any link which teaches AJAX concepts please let me know.

AJAX is a concept, which works with browser. It don't have anything to do with VisualStudio2005. Do you mean Microsoft's AJAX toolkit ? Then download the AJAXExtensions.msi file, install it on server, Download AJAXToolkit.dll, refer it to your website. Now Start new project, you can see a new template called AJAXEnabled website. Start that and work with AJAX tools.

You don't need anything to do AJAX. If you want to use the Microsoft AJAX library, you need to download it. Otherwise, you just need to read on how to use it, it's just javascript.

When You are using Paypal there are Some variable are There so You have to provide these variable's value
it must be
1. amount
2. description
3. installation id
4. address
5. phone no.
the installation id is Company id For which You make this Shopping cart..
i mean instid and amount is necessary rather than others..

Paypal site offers plenty of documentations on this. You can try with paypal sandbox for experiments. Check their documentations to get started
