Hi,
I want to convert the string into german currency format eg.
in US 21,666.56 in German 21.666,56
in US 177.66 in German 177,66
please revert me with a good solution.

Create a CultureInfo object for german, then use that when you convert the value to a string.
When converting a number to a string, a CultureInfo or NumberFormat object is always used. If you don't specify any, the default culture is used.

Please don't write in all upper case. It's tiresome to read.
You have to sort the numerical values. If you convert them to strings and then sort them, they will be sorted as text, not by value.

i have a web user contol(contains a dropdown-list) in the form.The dropdownlist get populated after the axecution of form load.i have to pick the value of dropdownlist before the dropdown-list loading gets completed.
I think , i should write the code on form events.But i don't know , on which event , i should write the code.

Instead you can do one thing create a property in your user control such as selectedValue or index like here you should write code for dropdown selectes value/index
Call this property from your page in page Load event

but the control function calls itself after the fom load event gets completed.i have properties there in the web control.i am repeating the question----the web user control loads after the execution of form load.

yes first form page load will occure then usre control page load will occered
Here i am explaing in deatil now
create a property in the user conterl
lets
public sting SelectedValue
set{this.dropDownlistId.Selectedvalue=value;}
get {this.dropDownlistId.SelectedValue;}
now as you said you want to show selected option as the page gets loaded now
call this property from page load or when you want to show changed dropdown value
this.UserControlId.SelectedValue="GiveValueofDropdown item"
you can use index also instead of value

Do you mean that you want to pick a value from the Dropdownlist on the fly(when it gets loaded - On DataBind). If yes then you can't. Dropdownlist doesn't have such an event that supports this requirement.

ok let me repeat the problem.i have a dropdownlist in the web-user-control.
the webusercontrol lies in the form.After the execution finished, the dropdownlist gets populated.Now my question is how can i detect the selected value of the dropdownlist at the form load(I have selcetd value and selected index propeties in the web user control)

Hi everyone,
I am trying to do something I thought was going to be easy and sure enough I have hit a road block 
In a nutshell I want to send a email to a user after they have made an order and in that email I would like to attach a PDF which has all the details of the order.
I have a pretty HTML (.aspx) page with all the details so I thought that if the server could retrieve this page and convert it into a PDF then all my problems would be solved elegantly.
Unfortunately I can't find anything which will convert a HTML web request (and its associated sub requests to get all the images, etc) and give me a PDF.
Because I am on shared hosting I am also looking for something which I don't need to install on the server - I would like to just deploy it as part of my bin directory.
Does anyone know anything that would do the job?
Obviously if it is free that would be great but I am willing to pay for something if it is reasonably priced and does the job well.

I like to get some advice in application architecture.
I've got xbap project that he's need to contain database ( user,image,so on..)
I've create the GUI and the app in WPF/E ( XBAP ).
What I'm doing right know ,is adding to my (XBAP ) anew ASP 2.0 project to
Benefit of the asp login wizard.
1 ) First question is how I automatically let my asp jump to my first xbap page after the user found as login.
2 ) What kind of data base you suggestion to use for membership website
that contain ( image , and so on... )
3 ) Do I have to build anew database or I can use the database that the asp 2.0 use her login users. ? ( I think is app_data ? )
In the ( XBAP ) solution I do adding a new project and add the asp 2.0 .
Please any one can clear for me that best architecture do combine this two environments ,And Most important who how many database object I need ?
One in the asp and one the Xbap project ?
