say the two tables dbase1 and dbase2

just update the tables like dbase1.emp and dbase2.emp

If both the database resides on the same server then you can do using the below syntax

Update DBName.dbo.Table SET DBName.dbo.Table.Column = val

you should use Server.MapPath Method[^]
If you just want to replace \ with / :
string path = systemPath.Replace("\\","/");

in my asp.net application crystal report run fine in my PC.
But on demo server it will giving error,

I need to filter a value in Dataset. My code is

Here i have not defined any column value, Still Can i filter the dataset.

you can use RowFilter property of Dataview to filter rows from the dataset...
something like this...

Dim view As New DataView<br />
view = DataSet1.Tables("TableName").DefaultView<br />
view.RowFilter = "Column = 'FilterValue'"

Problem using panels

Hi Friends

I am using Textbox inside a panel.
And the Textbox has Validator. The Validator is not getting fired?

Its pretty strange.

If i keep the panel in Visible = true on pageload. I see the Validator works.
But once i make its Visible = false and then again Visible = true.

Thereafter the Validators dont work.
Any idea friends.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you making the panel visible true, false on the client-side using Javascript?

No i am not making it Visible true and false using Javascript.

I have a button. On click method of button i am using code

if(panel.visible)
panel.visible=true;
else
panel.visible=false;

And yes my table is inside UpdatePanel(AJAX EXTENSIONS)
