Retrieve the Image from the DataBase and set the Content Type of the Response Object and do a BinaryWrite of the ImageByte array using the Response Object. This Image display code should be on a seperate page. say if you want to display the Image in an image control then all you have to do is just set the ImageURL property of the control to the URL of this Image Display Page.

I have given the code like this.....

while (dr10.Read())
{
Response.Write("");
}

'uploads' is a folder, i have 1.jpg inside this folder and its uploaded in server, now i have 1.jpg in my db filed so i have retrive that 1.jpg in my new page. the which i was given is above.

Looking at the Subject I thought you are Storing the Images in the DB. In your post you mentioned that you are storing the Link. What exactly are you doing. If it's Image then you can do it as i said in my previous post. If it's link then it's straight set the link to the ImageURL property of the control.

Hi All,

I am creating a web user control for data searching in my web page....

in my web user control I have one or two text box which have search string.

now i want to that when i put the search string into web user control's text box and click the search button in web page it will fill a data table according to search string.

Or How can i access the value of the text box which in web user control when i click the web page button.

so give me some idea or anything else which is solve my problem

u can access User control's textbox from aspx page as below.

In button click redirect to a search page with the criteria passed as querystring. In search page get the search criteria, fill the datatable and show it.

And <marquee width="75%"> ----the 75% must be enclosed.

ASP.NET can't scroll a text. This can be done either using a JS or HTML tag marquee. But some browsers won't support marquee. so I recommend JS

It works xcept for the few error you get saying "marquee function is not supported. But it runs

I didn't said that it won't work at all time. I said some browsers won't support it. BTW, have you tried in all browsers ?

After publishing my website, when I am trying to run my published application from IIS I am getting the following error..

"unrecognized configuration section 'connection strings'"
in web.config file.

how to resolve this problem ? plzzz I need ur help in this regard.

in IIS -> default website -> properties change Asp.net version to 2.x.x.x...

It will solve yr problem.

crystal report problem

Hai all,
I am using vs2003 with .net framework1.1.
When i am trying to generate a crystal report it is working perfectly,i can navigate the number pages for the data.
The thing is with the reportviewer,If i want to take a printout it is giving the current page data only.If number of pages are 5,how can i move to the pages 1-5?In the print crystal report toolbar also coming which i can remove,but main problem is i couldn't able to navigate to the next page for a printout.
and if i convert to some other format,same problem is arising.
I want to take print out for all the 5 pages at a time as generally we do in msword case,how to do??
Is there anyway to give programmatically that page shd move one by one automatically??
Which property shd i need to set??

Code i have given for the report display is----
sql = "SELECT * FROM gdata"
dbcomm = New OleDbCommand(sql, Conn)
Dim dap As OleDbDataAdapter = New OleDbDataAdapter(dbcomm)
Dim ds As New Dataset1
dap.Fill(ds, "gdata")

Do a DataBind in the Navigate event of the CR Viewer to navigate to the Next page.

Genrally In web application, you cannot do such a thing. Because the Data that is sent to the printer is browser based. Whatever data that is displayed will be printed. The one alternate to get all the data printed is remove the paging and display all the records in one stretch and print it.

No, You will not face the same problem if you generate the report in some other format such a pdf, word or excel. You will get all the data displayed in your file and you can get it printed.
