I guess I have already answered this long back. You need to look into HttpWebRequest and HttpWebResponse classes. Give a request to the target website and get a reponse. Write a regular expression to find your website name, and look in the response string.

hi all.
i am designing a page where we need to show a Menubar and Toolbar controls on top of the page.....
Menu bar have its own command like File, Edit, View, Tools, etc... each menu will have its own sub menus
toolbar its just the representation of some commands tht r available in the file menu... like save button.....
i need these two Menu bar and tool bar as independent ones... so tht i can extend it later.....
Any ideas please..... Menubar should be like client side menubar... no postback should happen when the user views it....
thanks in advance.......

I'll reply to whatever I want. I certainly don't need your permission.
Did you bother to read the forum guidelines? If not, pay close attention to rule no. 1. Cross posting is rude. It makes it difficult for people to collaborate on a solution to your problem.
I'm doing you a favour by pointing out your error. Please bear my advice in mind when making future posts.

How to call JavaScript function to FooterTemplate textbox of the GridView

Hi! I have an application which are both deployed in an intranet and an internet. But how can I determine if the user is accessing through the internet or intranet?
You can get the client's IP address by using Javascript. So, you can determine whether this IP address is in your LAN IP addresses range or not. but if you want to move your site to another LAN that uses the different IP ranges then you will need to change the IP address again.

i am having try and catch block in aspx page which calls class1 which again call class2.There are separate try and catch block in classes .How will i show to the user where has the exception taken place in aspx page or class1 or class2 . Please help me out. Thanks .

I think you can probably use Exception.StackTrace[^] for that. You have to throw the exception from the classes. If your classes eats the exceptions then you wont get it in your page.
In class2 handle the specific exception, and do the cleaning code. Re-throw exception with a user friendly message and your first class can handle it. I'd use a custom Exception class.

With which version of IE have you tested this with?
I just tested the same issue with 7.0 and it worked fine at my end.
